So last night after posting a link to the new chapter on Facebook, I noticed the generic pic didn't come through and it shows an empty pic slot type image instead. Obviously if you actually have a book cover, it's much better to have that shown in the link instead of a broken image. If anyone is curious on how to fix that for sharing you can help facebook by running your new chapter or book through the facebook debugger at the following link:

          	https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Just put you're link in and facebook scans the page and shows you a preview. It also helps to make sure that things you're sharing have accurate info. If you change anything, or it's not showing correctly, hitting the Scrape Again but will tell facebook to take a look at the page again. Sometimes it takes a few times for facebook to pick up. It's usually the first thing I do when I post a website page so anyone that shares it will result in the preview I want them to see on facebook. Just a little tip for fellow writers who try to share on Facebook. :)

Oh, and twitter has a similar thing. It seems a bit buggier and takes a few more tries to get it to grab information but still gets it for twitter so when shared it looks like it's supposed to. You can find twitters here:

Finally got a new chapter up for the third Bewitching book for everyone after getting a break from work. New website for the book is up too at http://thebewitching.com. Much, much happier with it than the old one that had been gathering dust. :)

Also found out @ElishaEnchanted changed the title of her book that she cast me in to The Blood of Jezebel! 3 Chapters with the character of Dr Francis Ovida with me imagined as the way the character looks. :D How cool is that?! You'll definitely want to check it out at the following link:

Here's hoping I can maybe get a bit more writing in before getting hit with another round of work.... (And did I say how happy I was to see some familiar faces still around and commenting after this latest update :D )

@MartinDouglas I'm not ready yet either lol. I'm editing like crazy though ☺. I have to do a course for work and that will tie me up for the next few months but after that I'm going to really research self publishing. Thank you so much for your offer for help. I will definitely take you up on it.

@ElishaEnchanted Yeah, I agree with the self publishing until the audience is big enough along with sales that you have some leverage with big time publishers. Gonna do the same myself, just not sure if my book is clean enough editing wise to attempt it yet. But yeah, some marketing things you can do with Adwords and such that can help, and while it can cost depending on how much you bid, you can control it by weighing against sales to see what's getting them. Most marketers I've met though, along with the self publishers who say they'll do it for you charge an arm and a leg though. Can definitely walk you through some of the stuff you'll want to ask though if you decide to go with one of those types of places or can give info on setting things up if you want to attempt on your own :D

@MartinDouglas thank you I will do that. The general consensus seems to be that self publishing is the way to go.

Okay, so a few weeks ago I took a trip, no internet connection so I was finally able to add a chapter to book 3 of the Bewitching and get part way through another chapter. Revamping the website right now since its...well outdated and ugly. I still have a pesky trailer to finish up editing too for the book along with 8 million other things.

Man, to the authors who are still able to find time to update weekly I don't know how you do it. Hope all the readers are giving you lots of love for doing so because it is darn hard trying to find time to write and also juggling all the other things in life that happen along with making a living.

Speaking of authors, readers, and amazing followers I'd like to thank @ElishaEnchanted for the kind comments. If you like Demons and such, check out her book Rosemonde of which she kindly dedicated a chapter to me. :) Also, thank you to everyone who's been more than patient with me with the updates, and @breannda35 and others who have been kind and helped with the silly spelling mistakes I make on what seems a consistent basis. Here's hoping I can knock out a few more chapters before the year ends. Fingers crossed!

@ElishaEnchanted story has changed it's title to "The Blood of Jezebel," but you are still cast as Dr Frank Ovida ☺

@MartinDouglas If it weren't enough for me, I would've stopped reading and commenting long ago. Keep doing what you are, baby steps forward are better than standing still!

@ElishaEnchanted @breannda35 Thank you both! I have no idea how to express just how much I've appreciated both of you and saying thank you seems like it's...not enough. :(

Hi do you have book 4 of be witching?

MartinDouglas

@MichelleRealLedesma LOL I wish I was on to book 4 already! Still stuck on book 3 and trying to find time to add to it. I do have the very ending of book 4 written, although that may change depending on how I lead up to it. Hoping I can find time to continue book 3 on a more consistent basis soon. But thank you for asking! Really glad you've enjoyed the book enough to be curious and ask about it :)

Hi!! When are you going to finish Book 3 of the Bewitching ? I've been waiting for it as long as you can't imagine and I've read it twice already!! Please keep us posted!

hcme13

Oh my goodness ! I can't imagine how busy you must be... life is a never ending trip but so glad to hear from you! Can't wait for the continuation of the book! Thanks again for the update ! Much appreciated it

@hcme13 Hey, I'm so sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy working on several websites, and I shot a trailer for the book but editing and adding the effects has taken a bunch of my time lately. Hoping to get back to book 3 soon. I went through yesterday and read the previous chapters myself just to see where I was and get into the feeling and flow of it again, along with fixing a few typos I found. Hoping within the next week or two I can start updating at least semi-regularly again. And thank you so much for checking in and asking. Happy people are still interested in the book :)

I was wondering if you were going to publish anymore chapters for part 3 of the bewitching series. I honestly love it a lot and I want to know how the story finishes. Please update

LaShadow

The Bewitching cover story plot made me think of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander, but in a completely different way.

MartinDouglas

Hey everyone. Sorry about the lack of updates. Been busy trying to get an interview edited and the green screening is killing me! Working on and off on the next chapter now though and wanted to stop by and thank everyone for the wonderful comments and the votes, and to let you all know I haven't forgotten to update. I've just been so busy I haven't been able to get to it... :(
