Hi all,

I am thrilled to announce I will soon be signing an exclusive distribution deal with Amazon for The Guardian. Unfortunately, this mean I will have to remove The Guardian from Wattpad. April 10th will be the last day the full novel will be available on Wattpad. I know many of you are only part way through reading The Guardian, and I wanted to give you all a chance to finish the story before it is removed. Thank you all for your support over the last year. Being a part of the Wattpad community is awesome. Your comments and feedback have been crucial to my development as an author. I intend to publish future books on Wattpad when they are finished, so stay tuned. There is much more to come!

          	Sincerely,

          	LHH

@LeeHHaywood Glad I hadn't actually started The Guardian here yet. But all is not lost, I've just downloaded the boxed set to read in Kindle Unlimited. Congratulations Lee, on getting to the next stage.

@GeminiMagic7 In my experience, getting more than a few reads is far from easy. I had less than a thousand reads before I became a featured story. Keep writing, socializing, and sharing with others in the community. What you're doing with your Coverbook is really cool and is a great way to lure new readers/followers to your work. Others than that, keep putting words on the page. Best of luck!

Amazon Reviewers Wanted.

I have fifty Amazon review copies of my new book, The Order (A Gods and Kings Chronicle), to give away. There is a link to the synopsis below. If you would like to receive a free review copy, send me a message letting me know. Please remember to provide your email address in the message. Within 24 hours you’ll receive an email from Amazon informing you that the book is available for download. When you finish reading The Order, post an honest review on Amazon. It doesn’t have to be long, a few sentences will suffice.

Due to the fact that Amazon has exclusive distribution rights for the ebook format of The Order, I will only be able to deliver review copies to people who have an active Amazon account. To read The Order you will need a Kindle or the Kindle App (free to download in the Apple and Android app stores). I’ll keep this post up until all fifty book have been given away, so if you’re reading this and are interested please don’t hesitate to request a copy. Thanks for your support!

          Sincerely,

Have any tips for a new writer looking to build their audience? I have posted a few things on Wattpad but nobody has touched them. What should I do?

LeeHHaywood

Hi @wnightroadxiii,

I totally know where you are coming from. I gained only a few hundred reads during the first few months my book was posted. Almost all of my reads came after I was selected to be a featured story. My best advice would be to keep writing, and submit your story to Wattpad to be a featured story when it's closer to completion.

            Best of luck,

I am thrilled to announce the release of The Order (A Gods and Kings Chronicle). The Order is a prequel to The Guardian, and is a great place to jump into the series if you haven’t already done so! Here’s the link:

Synopsis for The Order (A Gods and Kings Chronicle)

The gods are dead, long live the new gods.

Death mage, warlock, wizard. Throughout his years of service to the Guardians, Marcus went by many titles, although most simply called him Phirop, assassin for the gods. But now Marcus’s gods are dead, and the Order, the secretive cult that Marcus serves, wishes to replace them. To save himself and his family, Marcus sees only one way forward: to betray his brotherhood and steal from them a powerful weapon that would ensure their ascension to power.

On the day Calycia was born, the river near her home sprung its banks and flowed in reverse. As a child, candles flickered when she drew near, and storm clouds gathered whenever she cried. Now, on the eve of womanhood, such supernatural occurrences have stopped, but that has not been a reason to celebrate. Against her will, she has been engaged to Lord Rudlif, heir to the Capernican Throne. But Calycia has a secret that might set her free. She is the first woman in a hundred generations capable of sorcery. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know the words to a single spell, and as the day of her wedding draws near, Calycia learns a dark truth: she is not the object of her fiancé’s desires – it’s the magic blood coursing through her veins that he seeks.

When the Order instigates an insurrection on the day of the royal wedding, Calycia and Marcus find themselves on separate sides of the conflict. With the world around them falling into chaos, they are both thrust upon a desperate quest for survival. Only one thing is for certain – with the gods dead, those capable of magic are the closest to divinity in this world. Will such divine gifts lead Marcus and Calycia to salvation, or to an early grave?

hi Lee.
when will you put the guardian stone on wattpad?
          your work is really good.

LeeHHaywood

@ebangitirene I'm so glad you are enjoying my book. As of now, I do not have intentions to upload The Guardian Stone on Wattpad. It is currently available for purchase on Amazon. I know Amazon is not available in all regions of the world. I am hoping to to make The Guardian Stone available in other marketplaces soon (Apple, Kobo, Nook, Google, and a few others). I'll send out a notice to my followers as it becomes available in new places.

            Thanks,
