Okay so coming back to Wattpad, after years of abandoning it due to my embarrassing reads of cliches, I didn't expect to find such a gold here it was so so perfect for me, something which had a perfect mixture of mystery, humour, real-life rants (I still relate to umbrella situation so much), a real-life experience as a budding artist and an office worker(I can also relate to too upright but unfair boss like Paula), the self-growth of Isobel as an individual, her confidence boost.... It was such an interesting read, thank you! I hope your career is going great and you are happy.
P.s. also thank you so much for the proper English (it helped me break my image that Wattpad has bad English novels), I very much appreciate it!

(Part of the reason for my crappy day is I've been editing some appallingly poor editorial content as part of my day job, so I especially appreciate the fact that you appreciated my proper English--that is a pride point for both me and Isobel!) Just finish Temporary Detective. The book is exceptional. I couldn't even put it down, it had me hooked!!! I thought I had figured out the plot during the first few chapters but NO it was way more complicated. The ending was kind of satisfying. It was mind boggling . Loved it!!!

Weirdly enough, The Temporary Detective sounds like something that could happen in real life which adds to the whole experience.

There are three more Isobel novels that you can get on Amazon, etc. and another free short story on here! Also, Isobel is loosely based on my experiences as a temp/aspiring actress in the 1990s! @whitesaucepasta I love waitress and hamilton. Waitress was the first one I ever listened to. Then I learned of Wicked. Hamilton is a lyrical and musical genius. It gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. But Jenna from Waitress is my dream role, hands down.

@whitesaucepasta I was in a musical adaptation of Cyrano. I love musical theatre too! My favorite show is A Little Night Music. I've done three different productions, all of them very special. What is yours?

@safakeira25 One of my favorite quotes is "Don't get it right, get it written." So good for you! And keep going :) I have five published novels and am not working on anything else right now. I also write for the theater and I'm a music journalist as well.

@safakeira25 Well I hope you enjoy! And I'm glad you saw it on Mangatoon. I wasn't sure how much visibility it was getting there. As far as tips go, just write! And don't worry about it being perfect. Just get your thoughts on paper. That's really the hardest part--getting started, and then keeping going.
