Sorry for the long delay in posting a chapter. Tolkien threw me an unexpected curveball and I had to work out several chapters at once to make sure I could adapt. So today, I'm posting two chapters at once.

I just posted "A Long-Expected Party", which, as you might guess, corresponds to the chapter of the same name in Fellowship of the Ring. I've been looking forward to this chapter for a long time, because from now on, my story will be overlapping and retelling the events of Lord of the Rings. It is so much fun to have Bilbo Baggins and Sam Gamgee as characters in my story. Even if you don't read the whole thing, you might enjoy reading this chapter. Uruk Nar Lagurz: A Long Expected Party.

I realized I might have failed in my previous attempts to let you all know that I am writing again. My new story is set in Middle Earth during the time of the War of the Ring. It's about the company of orcs who, desiring above all else their freedom, left Mordor in secret to protect the Shire and the Ring from discovery.

I am about half done, and Bilbo Baggins is about to host an epic party.

Have you ever noticed how Swipe makes the most interesting errors?

I meant to write, "He lunged for the door."

Swipe changed that to, "He lived fire-- the Four."

Almost inspires one to write another story, don't you agree?

The BAGRONK is getting real for the Uruk Nar Lagurz. In the most recent chapters, they are coming face to face with the power of the One Ring, and learning that there are always consequences to messing with things they don't understand.

I am really excited today to start writing Book two of my Tolkien fanfiction. I've got some great ideas. Book one described how The Unbroken Orcs learned of the existence of the One Ring. Book two will describe their efforts to keep the Ring safe and secret in the Shire. They will find themselves making some strange alliances. Always their greatest challenge will be the fact that nothing that they need to do will come naturally to them.

Have you ever wondered why, when Gandalf left the One Ring with Frodo for years and years, that Sauron never found it? Have you ever wondered why, when Frodo took months to leave, even after Sauron had sent out his Black Riders, they were too late to catch him? This is the story who worked from within to slow and eventurally to stop Sauron's rise to power. https://www.wattpad.com/story/192454854
