I don't even know if anyone is looking at these that I post, but I guess I'll continue for a little bit longer *shrugs*

Don't let the bad times get you down. You're strong people, out there. So you just hold on. You hang in there until those bad times pass, no matter how bad they get, because in the end, you'll be faced with all the good times you've longed for.

Stories on the news of the two little boys with rare conditions, not being allowed to leave the country are honestly horrifying.
If they're being given a chance to LIVE, surely they should be allowed to be transferred to hospitals that might be able to help? #R.I.P.Bradley

'When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.'
I always wondered what was up with this saying. I mean, for starters, when does LIFE ever give you anything, and even then, why lemons?
Then you've got the fact that if you've just been given lemons, I'm pretty sure you'd be more focused on 'why the heck do I have lemons?!' than making lemonade.
Finally, why lemonade? Why not make a nice, lemon pie or something? A curd maybe? No?

Obviously, I get that it's a metaphor in which we're taught to take advantage of and make the best out of the good things we get in life.

          But still, why lemons?!

'A world without writing is hardly a world at all.'
Words strung together in imaginative, or realistic sentences, paragraphs, pages, books and series' build the basis of our knowledge. We learn our first WORDS which are so significant as children, then we develop until we can speak the entire language.
This is why writers are important. We base our life on what we learn, what we learn from writing.

Perspective is a funny thing. Depending on how we view things, we interpret things differently.
From one angle, we may see a guy bent on one leg, holding his partner's hand, proposing. But from another, we see that guy pleading for her not to leave him.
From one angle, we see a little girl handing a flower to her first crush. But from another, we see that girl's flower being crushed at the hand of the little boy.
With arts like photography, it's taught to exploit the angle, ensure that the perfect position is found and captured to encompass the true feelings of the moment. The same goes for writing. We must take every angle, every perspective and use it to play on the emotions of the audience.

Maybe we should consider this in real life? Before acting, stop, breathe and view the moment from every perspective.

Hey guys, so there's this award book thingy on here run by a group of people and it's a way of getting more views and votes on your books, while being able to put them up for a chance to win 'an award' as such.
I've tagged a bunch of you already in the comments, but I figured I'd notify you all. Be sure to check it out.

@claudushka i can see how it is rewarding/worth it, the people you meet on here can be amazing sometimes, even if you don't really know them. they're so passionate about reading and its nice to see because technology is becoming increasingly more and more popular, meaning reading is unfortunately doing the opposite. It's awards like yours that is keeping reading and writing a thing of the present. :)

The end of another year approaches quickly, seemingly quicker than that of last year, and the year before. But at the end of the day, every year goes by at the same pace, the only difference being that we're growing up, paying less attention to every moment, thus making time 'fly by quicker'.
For me, the end of this year marks something both terrifying and exhilarating. One of the 'most important' (says my teachers) set of exams are within my grasp - terrifying - but it's another step closer to the big world - exhilarating.

So, I guess I should probably stop rambling and just get to the point:
2016 may be over, but there are many more to come.
          Happy new year everyone!
It's been a good year, Thank you for all the support I've gotten from you guys; I'll see ya in 2017!
