No matter all the rain and storms in your life, the sun is still behind it all. Maybe you can't see it, but it still shines over you. Take the bad days with a grain of salt, and cherish the good days with your whole heart.
Even if you cry, your tears show you're alive
Even if you frown, you're still wearing a crown
Even if you sink, it'll be over with a blink
Maybe scars do remain, but don't think of yourself as weak.
Those scars show that you survived.
Those scars show your strength.
Those scars show that you have courage.
They don't show how beautiful you are.
A beautiful face,
Beautiful body,
Beautiful features,
A beautiful appearance,
Only come with a beautiful soul and heart.
You can ask about what I know.
But I've known the same.
Pain and hurt.
Yet, my scars are healing.
And so will yours.
You have no light?
Smile.
You have a bad day?
Set yourself up for a better tomorrow.
You're crying?
Let yourself cry, it's healthy to let out sorrow.
You're demons are showing?
That's okay, everyone's show and your angels mean more.
You're scared.
That's okay.

Even I- the supposed fearless warrior to those around me- am scared.

Every waking second.

And that's okay.
I'm only human.
And so are you.

So just be human.

Just be you.
Your dark and light.
Your angel and demon.
Your good and bad.
Your Yin and Yang.
Your Jekyll and Hyde.

Don't look down, 'cause your crown will fall.
Don't look away, 'cause the path is before you.
Don't look up, you'll get lost in the sea of the sky.
Don't look behind you, it's all in the past.
Just look forward, that's where your life leads.

And if you still can't find light,
A mirror is all you need.

I know this all sounds stupid.
You just need to trust me.
Maybe I'm just a random girl.
But I know what I'm saying.

You can be a rose.
You can be a phoenix.
You can be a star.
You can be you.

Just not a liar.
There's nothing bad about you.
We're all human.
And you know what?
