Nietzsche says that the worst thing that can ever happen to you in life has already happened and you are living it, and the best thing that could ever happen to you is death because you get to escape life. 
The ancient Greeks decided that rather than live in a reality where all anyone was ever doing was living out the worst possibility, that they would create art and seduce themselves back into living, because artistry makes life worth living and things worth doing.

This isn't really book related, but today I was in a clothing store and heard a sales assistant say to a customer "maybe just cut out carbs for a few weeks and you'll be fine." And I just think that is so wrong. 
          No one has the right to tell you how to deal with your body and no one has the right to make you feel inferior about any part of you.
