Collection of short and humorous stories about hikers and their experiences on the Appalachian Trail. This is a continuing work with new chapters and experiences, and characters being added all the time.

I'm an adventurous soul on a mission to explore all 63 national parks. My passion lies in crafting short stories and sharing personal photographs that capture the essence of these remarkable journeys. Through my words and images, I strive to convey the beauty of nature, the thrill of exploration, and the pure joy of discovery.

Inspired by my ongoing travels and the people that I've met on the road. This book brings together real, real-ish, and completely made up stories about real people. Throughout the stories you'll be able to follow my travels, but I didn't want to write a travel journal. And this way, it's more fun. I'll let you decide which chapters you think are completely true or fiction. All I will tell you, is that the ones written in my point of view are 100% true. Given the fictitious nature of certain parts, I've changed all characters' names (except my own and my girlfriend's). Amanda lived her life like everyone else else, with goals and dreams. But her job has its requirements, and she can only get 3 straight weeks of personal time this year, so she decided to go backpacking in the Smoky Mountains.
