Remembering His Name
Staring into his eyes, I stood there...like an idiot. He didn't even acknowledge me. He pulled out a gun pointing it over my head. Pulling me in closer to him, one hand on my lower back, the other handling the gun. I cried into his shirt hearing the sound of the flare go off.
"Shh! Brandy. It'll be over soon." He tells me, kissing the top of my head before he lets go of me.
Still standing there in tears, he walked away. I looked behind and there he laid. I covered my mouth and fell to my knees. "Oh my God!" I cried. A rushed of tears fell out. "He's-he's dead. No. No! You're dead. No, you can't die. Open your eyes, please. Please, open your eyes!" I cried louder.
Brandy Diamond caught herself in the arms of a feared gang leader. She can't escape no matter what she does. Even if she did, everyone she cared about will end up hurt. Brandy goes along having no feelings for him. As time goes by she catches herself deeper in the situation...maybe feelings.
But she told herself that can't and won't happen.
To him, Brandy is a lot more.
"Please don't hurt him!" I cried. I tried pulling him back, but he's too strong for me.
"I told you what will happen if you didn't. They can blame you." He says pushing me back a little.
I'm shaking from head to toe. I can see the demon inside him that's ready to submerge and take over. I hate him! How can he do something so cruel?
"No!" I shout. I run in front of him before he could do anything.
"God-, what the fuck is wrong with you? Use your goddamn head and get the fuck out of the way!" He yells at me.
"Please don't," I beg.
It was all over. I'm in the arms of a demon who only thinks for themselves.
I hate myself for letting this happen.
