Tezuka Kunimitsu, captain of Seishun Academy's tennis team, is determined to lead his team to victory at nationals-but their overconfidence after an easy regional win has him concerned. As he pushes them toward greatness, he must also navigate the growing tension of having to prepare for fierce competition from players like Atobe and Sanada.

Meanwhile, Ritsu Tainaka's laid-back attitude and passion for her band's upcoming competition seem at odds with her determined bandmates, especially Azusa, who insists they take practice seriously. Ritsu is more interested in making jokes and playing pranks than perfecting their music.

But when their class seating is shuffled, Tezuka and Ritsu become unlikely desk partners. As their worlds collide, neither knows what's coming-but one thing's for sure: they'll learn more than they ever expected from each other.
