So.. hi. I couldn't think how to start this story so I'm giving you a brief run down on how things start off as:

A fourteen year old girl works at a horse stud farm rehabilitation center thingy.

The stables, Racing River Stables, rescues horses that would have gone to slaughter houses or green horses that need to be trained. They also breed horses and give lessons to riders of any ages. Once the owner of the stables, Renn, believes a horse and rider are good for each other she will offer the horse to the rider.

Lori's ( the fourteen year old) "project" is a twelve year old white camargue stallion with black mane and tail called Tricky or Rubix cube ( his show name) who was was breed at the stable and is the most polite well behaved horse RRS (Racing River Stables) has.

Yeah so that's all I wanted to say so enjoy.

"I had no idea what had just happened. First I was lying down and enjoying myself and now there was a beautiful and I really mean beautiful boy was sitting on this speedboat, arm reaching out towards me, murmuring strangely heavenly words. Somewhere between the two I must have fallen asleep... Warily I took his soft hand and let him pull me up." ********** 14 year old Nina has the perfectly hectic life. School takes up most of it, meaning her priorities and daily routines come first- unfortunately for her non-existent love life. In the middle of Africa this 'outsider' is still getting settled into Malawi. A week of holiday at the lake means an amazingly refreshing 7 days of doing nothing. Bathing, tanning and watching endless hours of movie magic! But that was all before, in a random turn of unplanned events, she meets 'him'. The conincidence is awkward but their attration is imminent. Shea is your typical teenage Irishman. Back in Northern Ireland hes just about your average Joe. Here in the middle of Africa its an exiting adventure just waiting to be unraveled. Its a new style of living. And as the cherry on top he meets the girl who's smile takes his breath away. The intended summer fling grows into something bigger and bigger. Something no-one saw comming. Can this stay as a once in a lifetime summer love, or will it blossom into something more lasting? WARNING: this book does contain 'strong' language. So if you don't swear it might not be the right book for you. Sorry COMPLETED : 23 OCTOBER 2016

The Summer Of My Life

19 partes Concluida

A lot had changed in Nor's life over the last two years. Her twin brother grew way too much into a man, making her unsuited to be his test driver any longer because of her slender, female figure. She was on her way to her last year of school, and for the first time, she went to school with the knowledge of staying there without having to leave again for Yanic's races until she would graduate. And then, there was her Granny, who, to Nor's amusement, suddenly felt the need to get her grandchild into horses again, and what Granny wanted, Granny usually got. So Nor found herself boarding a bus at the beginning of August to live on a stud for the last six weeks of her summer holidays with lots of other girls. And what looked like a total waste of time turned out to be the best summer of her life.
