People find it...odd, to say the least, that CyberLife would send what many would call a "stupid piece of plastic" to hunt down its own kind. But nothing bad would come of this, right? A programmed individual on its way to deal with malfunctioned programmed individuals.

This story is based on "Detroit: Become Human," where the reader (she/her pronouns and written in first-person point of view) is a detective who gets shoved into the same android-based homicide cases as Hank and a CyberLife android named Connor (RK800). Although she herself never held anything against androids, she was mildly curious as to how these future cases would unfold with an android solving problems regarding deviants.

Connor, the RK800 android, has been assigned to Lieutenant Hank Anderson to help with the crimes involving deviants. He is the most advanced prototype so far, after all. His mission is to capture all deviants. His android world meets Julie's which changes both of their lives and also the future of Detroit.
