Ever heard of a perfect world? That's what the citizens thought their land would be. Perfect, equal, every word you can think of associated with "perfect". But they know what lies beyond The Wall. Dark truths and lies. Imperfection.

Meri, a 14-year-old girl, finds out the truth about the Delphic Utopia. The lies. The truth. The facts. She stumbles upon some hurdles that could risk her life to satisfy her curiosity. Maybe, after all, the word 'utopia' is not the right word to describe the Delphilim society.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. She was used to being alone. Used to hiding in trees, gripping her belongings as they searched for her below. Used to losing those she loved to them. Blights caused her pain. They caused everyone pain. She questioned what the point of living was. Now-a-days, it was just scraping by to survive. Then she heard about Ryseden, a utopia of sorts. They promise to shield those free of infection. They promise a warm bed with food. They promise a purpose in life. And that's exactly what she needs. u·to·pi·a: An imagined "perfect" realm. Where everyone is content; where things get done by people who are happy to do them, and where problems that have plagued our world for over a millennium no longer apply. Whoever came up with the idea was drunk, stoned, tripping or insane. Maybe even all four.
