Some people like to find them early on," she said, nodding to Jenna and Kurt cuddling on the story time mat, "but some people chose to find their soulmate once they grow up," my kindergarten teacher explained. I looked around at everyone gazing at Miss Lee, then at their wrists. So I looked at mine. "Miss Lee! I don't have a string!" I blurted out. I felt their eyes on me, until Miss Lee turned and glared at me with disgust. Did I do something wrong? I continued to ask myself.

I never had that damn string from the start. It all started in kindergarten, when we first learnt about something that would change our lives forever, that thing is called The String. **Credit to the original owners of the story, I just loved it so much but I wanted to add some tweaks**
