What if Teresa didn't trigger the ending? What if she and Thomas were not sent to the glade for a reason? What if after Teresa, every month the box brought a new girl. Not a boy. I've never done this before, but I had a few ideas so I'm going to try it out. For those who have only seen the movie, some of these may not make sense because most will be from the books. Also: SPOILER ALERTS -----------–----------------------------------- ~Backstory~ Thomas ran to the Crank Palace. You were right behind him, almost matching his speed. In his hand, the cure for the Flare. You found Newt in the innermost ring. He was sitting with the same group as before. You swipe the syringe from Thomas's hand and lunge at Newt. "(Y/N), what---" he says as he sees you. You cut him off as I you jab him in the neck with the needle and inject the serum. The innocence in his eyes returns as he registers your face. Thomas finally makes it over. "Tommy. (Y/N)..." You shut him up with an embrace. He's back.
