Doodzki ejects from his hornet and lands on a Japanese farmland in Okinawa with a bullet lodged in his left chest area. Losing a large amount of blood. He falls to the ground unconscious. A Japanese female doctor on her way to work sees him. She quickly attends to him and takes him to the hospital. Waking up in an unfamiliar territory. He begins to enjoy the quiet life in Japan. Until fate played its hand on the pilot. He is unintentionally seen buying food at a local supermarket by two American soldiers. Having been reported before as "M.I.A." because of the accidental shooting. The two soldiers reports the sighting to their superiors in Okinawa. He is quickly fetched and turned over to his carrier strike group that happens to make a stopover in Okinawa. He gets debriefed about the incident and is ordered to report back to active duty after a week. The hotshot pilot realizes that he fallen in love with the doctor who cured and nursed him back to life. And then came the order to give air support to a rescue mission. Will he come back alive this time? Or will his luck run out? Find out in "Take My Breath Away".

This poem depicts a time in my life when I served in the military. There was a specific event that created so much chaos. I use the color Red and it's variants to tell the tale of friendly fire on an unsuspecting unit.
