Yet again, another story was written for a college fiction writing class. This one, however, is my baby and is hoping to be made into actual novel length. Enjoy the short and condensed version for now as I struggle my way through writer's block and why I decided to write a story about first generation children born of Irish immigrants in a city I've never been to who go to a country I've never been to and speak a language I do not. Uses of Celtic mythology are most likely inaccurate, along with the use of the Irish language. Will most likely add the chapters to this work when the chapters begin to actually become something. When Evan receives a message from a mysterious benefactor to steal a spear from some woman he didn't expect to run into someone who claims to protect his family. But when he finds out some odd things about not just his family, but also himself and his twin sister it's a miracle it all doesn't go out the window like these newfound powers he's acquired through a kiss.

Not going to lie, I wrote this in year 7. I'm kind of only putting it on Wattpad because it's kind of funny. As my bio reads, I'm into mythology. I know next to nothing about Irish mythology, but I did a little research before I wrote this story. It was actually an assignment for IT of all classes, and we were given 4 things to add into a story: An angry man, an aggressive bird, A lush jungle, and a boat. Hopefully you won't cringe too much.

I was just an ordinary boy until the Goddess with the Pegasus came along and took me to Puffin Island. Yeah... Maybe I should explain. I, Fletcher MacAuley, was once a normal boy. Then I was whisked away to a world I could never imagine with a destiny greater than anything anybody 's faced in the past few centuries. And you think it's tough having to clean your room...

In a world where the boundaries between myth and reality dissolve, and chaos battles order for dominance, a fractured band of mortals and gods navigate their entwined destinies. Niamh, a Gael warrior grappling with love and betrayal, Oisin, a haunted champion burdened with his father's legacy, Sullivan, a dreamer longing for belonging, and Antonius, a philosopher torn between ancient beliefs and a learned empire, find themselves drawn into the intricate and unpredictable web of chaos spun by the Morrigan. Across a backdrop of tumultuous battles and surreal landscapes-from the desolation of the bogs to the soaring heights of divine citadels-the companions must face cryptic deities, ancient curses, and the deceptive pull of fate. The Morrigan herself, both ally and antagonist, manipulates and guides them, forcing them to confront their deepest fears and desires. Meanwhile, forces of nature and progress collide: the gods of hearth and field wrestle with the encroaching mind of man and its unyielding march toward order. From the halls of the Dagda's feasts to the eerie silence of Crom's mounds, secrets unravel, identities are forged, and legends are rewritten. As myth and memory intertwine, Niamh, Oisin, and their companions discover that the stories they live are as malleable and transformative as the hands that tell them. But whose story will prevail, and at what cost? A tale steeped in Irish mythology and universal human questions. Lyrical prose, philosophical reflection, and mythological grandeur explore themes of identity, balance, and the eternal struggle between creation and destruction. A journey through the realms of gods, mortals, and the intricate stories that shape them.
