To everyone who looked, Kit was annoyed by Ming's very existence. Constantly snapping at him and pushing him away and otherwise denying his attempts at flirting. Kit seemed cold hearted and no one could understand why he didn't love that giant puppy Ming. Ming knew the truth of course, he got to see Kit behind closed doors. How else were they supposed to raise the twins, Earth and Moon? Ming surely wasn't letting Kit go through that alone.
