Collaborative romance written with artist and creator of Ho-Z Designs, Alexander 'Ho-Z' Hoset. It was about time for Veronica to settle down and find a love, she thought. Her recent attempts at doing so left her weary, if not bewildered. In a last desperate act to find that love she finds herself in a coffee shop where she may just have met the man of her dreams. The hitch? He may be a little bit more than she bargained for. Only time will tell if Veronica can look into the substance of this man to love him for who he is and not what he is. **Please excuse grammatical errors or mistakes. *ON HIATUS sorry for the wait* Nobody better be feeling sorry for Will, the fast-talking, fast-rolling twelve-year-old who happens to have cerebral palsy. Will Fortin is unstoppable, the fastest kid on two-wheels in his school. He figures he's more than sharp enough to figure out what happened to his father, with the help of his friend Meg. Since his mother died keeping all her secrets, locating a secondary parental unit is kind of a priority. Not that Will needs a home--he pretty much runs the show at Lakeland Manor, the group home where he lives now--but every kid needs a dad to send birthday money and show up for graduation, right? Meghan Fehr is child number three of six in her hard-working farm-family and, up until now, she's been happy to blend in with all the other boys--her older brother Luke and the twins. But apparently her body has other plans. Nobody makes her feel more alive than her friend Will, with his big dreams and his big personality. They're making plans for an epic summer together and it feels like even when her body won't do all the things she wants, anything is possible with Will. A summer of secrets and discovery, of cows and horses and possibly a poodle or two thrown in. My eyes flashed over to my Tarot card deck sitting on my night stand, I felt weak, but I flipped my index finger to turn over the golden card on the top of the deck. It was one of my favorites, the "Wheel of Fortune Card,"which shimmered in gold and dark blue. There was a large, golden dial inscribed on it. It meant change was coming, I thought, my pink lips curled into a curious smile. That would make sense, I thought, since October 31st is right around the corner. I exhaled in deeply concentrating on having the card fly into my hand. I had to be careful, I thought, Don't need another paper cut from these cards. That's another thing they never talk about it the movies or shows. I smile and shake my head laughing, "If only mortals knew what I could do."
