I was a kid with not a lot of prospects, I was smart sure but I didn't have a lot of money, creativity or options but what I did have going for me that no one else did was my amazing group of friends. Thanks to my old buddy Billy; who inherited a block of flats from his grandparents, I was able to move into his place, pay next to nothing and be able to begin "being an adult" but, to be fair, whenever Bill is around, there won't be much adulting going on. Within a couple days of me moving in, so to did the rest, who would soon become my found family. First was Lauren, now Lauren was a sweet.... Ish girl, she could do nothing else but work, never had time for the simpler pleasures in life, especially when dating was concerned. Next there was Rebecca, or as a soon found myself calling her, Becks not only because it's easier but it was also the first thing I saw her drink that day since it was all we had in the fridge. And the last to arrive was Katie, a bubbly ball of excitable energy, which was difficult to get used to but, she's one of the kindest and most free spirit types you've ever seen. So why am I telling you this? Well, it's because you'll be getting to know them fairly well, not quite as well as I did but considering we lived together for the last of some of their teen years and for sure many of our early twenty's, I don't think it's possible to know them better than me. You understand of course. But I digress... Like all good stories, we begin in the late 90's, friends was still airing, the prequel Star Wars movies weren't yet out, tamagotchi and The philosophers Stone were just released and life was, one the whole... pretty good. - The Tower Complete

"Ally closed her book, laid it on her night stand and reached for her tarot cards. She was in a habit of quizzing herself, pick a card, decide what it means, Google it to see if she was right. Two of Pentacles, inevitable change. Seven of Wands, courage and inner strength. The Tower, unexpected upheaval..." Ally, Myranda and Tristan have one Summer left during their high school careers and in order to take a long awaited road-trip, they all get summer jobs. The Summer throws more at them then they bargained for though, and they each find themselves facing their own problems head on. Myranda deals with unrequited love, Tristan with discovering his sexuality, and Ally deals with the importance of family. Will their friendship survive the Summer? Will they even be the same people they were by the time it's all over? Do Ally's cards hold all the answers, or are they really just nonsense? - No Band-Aid's For The Growing Pains Ongoing
