A pirate, a criminal, and a deserter are on the single, snowy road to the Meek River diamond mine. First they have to escape the shackles, and then the guards, stay ahead of the rest of the scouts who are looking for the deserter, avoid the criminals haunting the woods, and make it past the mine without getting caught again. Preferably before running out of food. Hopefully before the next winter storm.
