Just me and my dumb thoughts and some quotes from movies and William Shakespeare. It's clearly nothing special but it's mine, it's just as honest as it could be. It's my feelings expressed in this sort of a book. If you're gonna read this, switch your background to black, just in case to deepen the mood. - Son of 'Twas Brillig Complete

Hey there! I've been struggling with one thing lately and that is to track down my own thoughts and perspective of world. As the sonnet 18 of Sir William Shakespeare is to praise his beloved's beauty and describe all the ways in which their beauty is preferable to a summer day.The stability of love and its power to immortalize someone is the overarching theme of this poem. Also his main message is that which will fade in life (beauty) can be immortalized in verse..his poetry will live forever. In the same way I thought of collecting the unwritten emotions and poems of different writers and poets (credits are given to the respectful owner) and label them under the collection "Sonnet 18", I hope you will understand my message. ps: None of the content are mine except where I shared my point of view on the same, so don't point out as I have already given the credits to the rightful owners. - Mrs Jeon🐰 - Shakespeare's Sonnets with Paraphrases Ongoing

As you can see from the title, this is NOT my work. It is Shakespeare's; who wrote wonderful plays and the unfortunate tragic-romance *cough* Romeo and Juliet*cough* along with these sonnets which I am posting and placing the translations. Enjoy! Songs from all our favorite bands... but in the style of Shakespearean sonnets! (Well, to the best of my ability lol. Despite my username, I do not claim to be a Shakespeare expert). Last year in school, we had the option to write a sonnet based on a modern-day song (as inspired by poet Erik Didriksen, who essentially pioneered the concept of pop sonnets) for extra credit. So, I wrote two! Figured I'd put them here (I'll likely write more in the future). Obligatory disclaimer: I do not take any credit for the songs that I am basing these sonnets off of. - Sonnets Ongoing

My favorite poetry. The majority will cover themes that have to do with a sort of wondering or longing. Expect a lot of Walt Whitman and Shakespeare. Also a huge DPS fan so a lot of the poems from that will be in here.
