"Oh god hyung you didn't have to come to pick me. I would have just---"
"It's fine Tae. Just tell me how are you doing?"
"Just fine."
Taehyung replied as he checked his belongings, making sure he didn't forget anything at the hospital.
"Are you really okay baby?"
Taehyung smiled lightly as he pressed his head with glass window, now looking outside at the passing trees and cars.
"I don't know hyung....but I want to be..... happy."
Jin caressed his shoulder, comforting him. He knew by giving him the same advice, he had been giving for years isn't the solution. He had to let Taehyung tackle things on his own, in his own way. And just pray for his happiness.
After twenty minutes of drive they entered Jin's house. Taehyung's ear perked up hearing giggles of a child. A wide boxy smile blossomed on his face as he excitedly ran inside.
There he saw the source of the cheery laughter. A four year old boy playing with Jimin. The boy stopped his actions when he saw the new comer enter the living room.
Taehyung stood there for a few minutes staring at the boy wordlessly. He then slowly walked towards him and crouched down to his level.
The boy peered at him with big doe eyes. Taehyung showed off his beautiful boxy smile seeing the baby looking at him, confusedly.
"Hi. I'm taetae."
He muttered in a small voice. The boy smiled shyly as he hugged Taehyung out of nowhere. Taehyung hugged back surprised by the sudden display of affection by the kid.
"I showed picture of you all to him and he called you a fairy he was so excited to meet you."
Jin announced gaining his attention. Taehyung laughed, patting the boy's back.
"What's your name bub?"
"Ha--neul."
The boy answered snuggling closer to him. Taehyung's smile faltered for a second as he remembered the day when Jungkook brought him to an orphanage and he met Jungkook's favourite kid... Haneul.
//Jungkook smiled and walked towards the other. He picked up the kid and made him sit on his own lap. The cute kid immediately latched onto Jungkook's neck burying his head there.
"I'm sad."
Jungkook spoke while patting the kid's back.
"W-whyy?"
The kid's muffled voice was heard.
"Hanie didn't give a hug to hyung. He's been ignoring hyung."
"Nu."
"Then?"
He pointed his cute chubby hands at Taehyung and spoke.
"Angel hwung is alsho nice. I hugged h-him when you hugged othersh."
"You like him?"
Haneul nodded his head shyly. Jungkook smiled and kissed his head.
"Mwe too."
Jungkook spoke in a baby voice making Taehyung and haneul both laugh.//
Taehyung smiled bitterly as he diverted his attention back onto the kid, who was latching to him.
"What a pretty name you got there. Can I call you hanie?"
He asked. The boy nodded and giggled liking the new nick name.
"Wow so my best friend just forgot my whole existence in no time. Should I cry or laugh?"
Jimin childishly scoffed, making Taehyung turn towards him as he walked upto him, still holding the child and he hugged him by side.
Jimin immediately responding patting his head.
"Sowwy."
Taehyung batted his eye lashes cutely making Jimin laugh.
"Gosh you are so annoying. Fine!"
"C'mon babies you can play later. Let's eat something first."
Jin yelled from the kitchen.
"For fuck sake hyung. I'm a married man! The only babies we have here are Taehyung and haneul." Jimin huffed.
"Still a baby for me. You all are my babies."
Jin yelled again. Jimin rolled his eyes. Taehyung frowned.
"And I had a daughter too. Remember! So I'm also not a baby."
Taehyung froze up hearing his own words. Jimin and Jin also stopped bickering, now looking at him with concerned eyes.
Taehyung swallowed the lump in his throat as he chuckled.
"Oh c'mon. You two don't have to act so gloomy suddenly."
He dismissed them and walked away from them, towards the kitchen. Never in his life he imagined a single sentence can hurt him as if someone stabbed his heart million times.
'Had a daughter'. Heaving a deep breath, he darted his eyes back to hanie, looking at him curiously.
"Let's eat something first. Then hanie and taetae will play. Okay?"
The boy nodded happily. Taehyung ruffled his hair cooing at his cuteness.

"Where are you?"
"On a business trip."
Jungkook replied to the question Nara asked, as he continued sipping his coffee.
"You could have at least informed me."
She complained, Jungkook played with his pen, thinking about the words he wanted to say to her.
"I actually wanted to say something to you."
He interrupted her. It was quiet for few seconds but the ice was cut by Nara as she replied.
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Nara.... You are a nice girl--"
He rolled his eyes at his own words as he spoke again.
"I'm a busy man. I'm afraid that I can't give you enough time. I have so many responsibilities. So I was thinking it's better----"
A knock on the door made him stop, he turned towards the new presence he had in the room.
"Sir, you asked for me."
The man stated. Jungkook rubbed his temple and motioned for him to sit on the sofa. He turned his attention back to the phone.
"So I was saying---"
"Oh sorry Jungkook. Can we talk later! I think mom is calling me."
With that she abruptly cut off the call. Jungkook poked his inner cheek with his tongue, feeling annoyed.
He sighed and put his phone back on the table.
"So what about the work I assigned you?"
"Sir just as you said. My men beat him to pulp. He's in hospital now with many broken bones and we made sure he won't open his mouth to say anything against you."
Jungkook hummed satisfied, nodding for him to continue.
"And we delivered the envelope to his wife, with his recordings confessing his evil acts and including what he did to destroy someone's life. My men informed me that the woman had filed a divorce and left him, not wanting to raise her daughter with such a man."
The man completed his speech as he looked over to jungkook, and found him grinning, eyes closed and head leaned back on the chair. With the raise of a hand he motioned the man to leave, who complied to his order and quietly exited.
'I hope you are feeling helpless and devastated Kim Minjun."
'Enjoy my treat.'

Two weeks passed in a flash, Taehyung was sitting in his office as he just arrived after doing a surgery with his fellow doctors and team.
He was exhausted nonetheless. His eyes narrowed reading the text he just received from none other than Han Yejun.
//Yejun:
Good afternoon.
Sorry for disturbing you.
Uh actually Taehyung I wanted
to ask you something. If you
don't mind.
Tae:
It's fine. I wasn't that busy.
What you wanted to ask?
Well...I... Umm...wanted say
this to you for a long time honestly.
It took me a lot of time to
even text you again. Just bcz I was quite nervous.
Hmmm. It's okay.
Just say whatever you
want to. I won't mind.
Can you...uh...
Go out with me on a date?
Taehyung was taken back by the request, he re-read the text making sure his mind wasn't playing games. With shaking hands he switched off his phone and placed it in the table.
'Oh my god! What the hell!'
He murmured anxiously. Biting on his nails he decided that he'll just meet him and humbly reject his offer.
'No no. I'm not even gonna meet him. I'm gonna act like I never even met him'
'If I just say 'no' over a text. Will that be okay? I hope he won't mind.'
He nervously reached for his phone to type an excuse. But frowned reading the new message from Yejun.
Yejun:
You don't have to answer immediately. Plz think over it.
I'm...quite serious about you.
With a sigh he placed the phone on his lap. 'I'll talk to him about it personally and tell him, I'm not interested.'
Without investing another thought on the matter he got up from his seat, ready to check on his patients.
With medical staff greeting him and some patients smiling at him, he made his way through the bussy corridors. Taehyung felt proud whenever he recalled the reason he chose this field.
He lost his baby, mom and dad, knew how it feels when you lose a dear one. So he wanted to save people or at least help them by treating their beloved ones. It made him feel like he was trying to make sure nobody feels empty and alone like him....or goes through the same pain and avoid it as long as the nature allows.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes as he walked towards his car. The source of his irritation immediately turned around as the person greeted him.
He just nodded in response. Yoongi spoke.
"Ah Yejun. How are you?"
"I'm good sir."
He smiled. Jungkook stood there quiet, as he continued scrutinizing
the man. Namjoon came after talking with a client, he placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder making him aware of his presence.
"Why are you gawking at him eagle eyed?"
Namjoon joked. Jungkook chuckled.
"Nothing hyung. Just seeing what so special about him."
Namjoon laughed at Jungkook's remarks. Yoongi also turned towards him, Yejun leaving after a bow.
With happy chattering voices they all sat in their car, engaging themselves in random talks.
They were driving towards the airport, ready to board on a plane back to Korea, after making successful deals with their business partners.
Another thought continuously bugging Jungkook reminding of something really important he has to do, right after landing in Korea.
Hoping things would finally get better.
