A coward is defined as "a person who lacks courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things". To some this means that a person is unwilling to go through the hardest parts of life, taking the easy way out of any and everything. To others this means that a person is constantly afraid, being too scared to live their life.
Zorya Harrow is a coward by both of these standards.
Taking the easy way out is the only thing she knows, decisions motivated by the fear that the New Republic will not be able to save her and the ones she loves. That her master, Luke Skywalker, will not be able to help her.
The easy path is the quickest way to the dark side, and if it means establishing order, keeping her home planet of Vallen free from terrorism, and keeping Ben Organa by her side, then maybe the blood on her hands would be worth it. Just maybe.
