Prince Chanyeol had left since dawn with the emperor's armies looking out for his missing wife. The sun had set but they were far from way home
The remaining 5 princesses gathered at the common room. They had the royal guards patrolling all over the castle for safety reason

The grand door flung open and Prince Kyungsoo walked in with his guards

Namjoo was flustered to see her husband coming home with dirt staining his royal armor
Chorong-Prince Kyungsoo, where did you come from?
Kyungsoo-I just come back from Marjorie, looking out for the culprit

Naeun clutched at her skirt tight. Fear crept into her mind
Namjoo got up from her chair and walked to her husband
Namjoo-Let's not worry about it anymore. You should rest
Kyungsoo nodded
Chorong-I will ask Commander Suho if he could help with anything about that
Kyungsoo-Thank you
Namjoo-Please excuse us
Namjoo and Kyungsoo strolled off back to their room. Not long after they left, Naeun also excused herself

She looked for her owl everywhere

Naeun stopped abruptly when she heard Kyungsoo calling her name

She denied. Kyungsoo walked up closer to Naeun. Goosebumps raised all over her skin

Naeun-I.. I don't know what you are talking about

Naeun looked at Kyungsoo in the eyes
Kyungsoo-Let me remind you again that Princess Namjoo is your biological sister

Kyungsoo walked to his wardrobe to take his bathrobe and towel before he left to the hot spring

Kyungsoo stripped off all of his clothes before wrapping a towel around his waist. He got into the pool
Kyungsoo swam back and forth and then went to sit at the pool stairs. He felt much more relaxed getting soaked inside the hot water
From distant, he spotted someone approaching; Namjoo. She was also wearing a towel
She dipped her foot into the water, feeling the temperature before getting in. She swam towards Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo grabbed on Namjoo to support her standing since she was losing balance inside the water
Namjoo-Hee
She grinned. Kyungsoo also smiled back thinking she was being cute like that
Suddenly Namjoo slung her arms around Kyungsoo and pulled him into a tight hug
Namjoo-I didn't mean to upset you. I'm sorry
Kyungsoo-It's actually nothing. Maybe I was too exhausted mentally and physically, so I got emotional
Kyungsoo broke the hug and faced his wife, eyes boring into her irises
Kyungsoo-Namjoo, I want you to know that I love you so much. I would do anything to protect you
Namjoo-Yes. I love you too Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo kissed Namjoo roughly and then moved to her jaw and neck, sucking her skin until it left red marks there
Feeling hypnotised, Namjoo let out soft moans. She could feel Kyungsoo's bulge pressing against her womanhood through the fabric of their towels
They both stopped and looked at each other for a moment. Kyungsoo didn't wait for Namjoo to say anything before he stripped off the towel from Namjoo and also his own
Namjoo sat on his lap, legs wrapping around Kyungsoo's waist. Namjoo yelped when Kyungsoo entered her painfully slow

He whispered darkly into Namjoo's ears. She obeyed and began to bounce up and down. Kyungsoo threw his head back, aroused

After a few more thrusts, they finally reached their climaxes at the same time. Namjoo leant against Kyungsoo, breathing heavily

Kyungsoo chuckled. He placed soft kiss on Namjoo's shoulder

He carried Namjoo out of the pool. He wrapped them in dry bathrobes and carried Namjoo bridal-style back to their room

Naeun could not sleep for the blink that night. Her thought was filled with Jongin and Jongin only
She was wondering why he didn't reply to her mails. But now she knew; he was probably busy trying to survive out there
Naeun-Oh my God, please protect him
She prayed desperately
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Naeun jumped in startle when she heard a knock against the sliding door. She approached slowly and pulled the blind
Naeun-Jongin!
Jongin put his index finger on his mouth, telling Naeun to be quiet. She quickly opened the door and pulled him into her room before closing the door back
Jongin pulled Naeun into his hug
Naeun-Are you okay?
Jongin-I'm fine, don't worry
Naeun-Thank God. I was so worried if you got hurt. I'm sorry I didn't get to warn you. I didn't know my brother in law...
Jongin-Shh, we don't have time for this
Naeun frowned. She only noticed Jongin was carrying his backpack behind him
Naeun-Jongin, are you going somewhere?
He nodded
Jongin-I am planning to leave Marjorie
Naeun-Then why are you here?
Jongin-I need to see you before I go. This is probably the last time, I don't think we can meet again after this
Naeun cried. She kissed Jongin's lips. He also kissed Naeun back, passionately. Then they broke the kiss at the same time
Jongin-Wait
Naeun-Why?
Jongin-I don't think I can go
Naeun-What?
Jongin-What if I just turn myself in?

Naeun resisted
Naeun-Don't. You have to go

It was heavy for her to do this, but she wanted the best for this man. She could not tolerate any risk that might follow if Jongin decided to turn himself in. Naeun didn't think the first princess would simply forgive him even after he admitted to his crime
Naeun-Go Jongin! Please... Go!
Naeun pushed him out through the sliding door. Since Naeun insisted, Jongin had no choice but to leave
Naeun-Don't get caught no matter what. Promise me
He nodded. Once again, Naeun kissed him. This time she tried to make it as longer as possible
Jongin-Good bye Princess Naeun
Jongin jumped off from the balcony. Naeun watched him leaving through the backyard garden and finally disappeared
Naeun-Be safe
Jongin stopped and turned back around. He saw Naeun was still standing at the balcony of her room. He cried before he knew it himself. God knew how much he loved Naeun. He never wanted to leave, but it was better off this way
Jongin-You deserve someone much better Princess Naeun
And he snuck out of the back gate. Jongin headed to the west, still thinking where he could possibly go without being caught
Twig!
Sound of twigs snapping
"Stop over there!"
A group of soldiers surrounded him
"Put your hands above your head or I will shoot"
Jongin-Shit!
Jongin lifted both of his hands up. Bad luck

Someone just told me KaiEun part is actually the hook of this book. Do you feel the same thing? I'm glad you are loving their love line, I didn't know it could leave anticipation in the readers because Kai turned out to be antagonist huehue. Stay tuned for the next update tomorrow 😉
