Your POV
Nekoma High Volleyball Team was boarding the bus headed to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Today was the first day of Spring InterHigh, the national volleyball high school championships.
It was a short trip and soon, you were all entering the gymnasium. Most of the members were walking smugly.
Different high school teams were gathered in the lobby, both males and females. They were all so tall. You, an adult, was staring up and around at the different high schoolers like a kid.
"Miss Kitt, it's rude to stare." Kuroo said.
"Oh that's right, you didn't inherit the height gene." your grandfather joked.
Annoyed with their teasing, you moved over to Kenma who was quietly playing his portable gaming console. Suddenly you felt him look up from his device and say "Shōyō.".
You follow his line of sight and see Hinata jumping up and down towards your team shouting "Oy Kenma, Hi!!! The Skytree tower was so tall!". He emphasized the landmark's height by jumping really high with both hands in the air.
"Oi munchkin! Lower your voice!" you hear a familiar voice scold. As expected of him, he dislikes ruckuses.
You and Ukai haven't seen each other since your last date. He was busy preparing his team, while you were busy helping your grandfather with a similar objective. He visited Tokyo once during that time to take you out for the second time.
Despite not seeing each other though, you two have gotten much closer. You two communicated through text, call and video chat. You're both comfortable with each other now; constantly hitting on the other and joking freely.
You noticed that the team members had spread out, catching up with other teams. Ukai approached you while your love team supporters, crows and cats, weren't paying attention.
"Hey! Wanna go with me to the vending machine?" he asks.
"What about your team?".
"Takeda will watch them.".
"Alright then." you give a sweet smile.
You both walk quietly to the vending machine, side by side. From a distance, you saw that there weren't any people in the area you were headed to. When you arrived in front of the machine, he faced you, bent down, and wrapped his arms around you.
"I missed you!" He whined with a higher pitch which was still considered deep. You were so touched that you exaggeratedly felt like crying.
You hugged him and whined back "I missed you too!".
"Really?".
"Heh, of course!" you were a little bit embarrassed to admit it.
"Then will you be my girlfriend?".
You froze, and pulled away from the hug after a while. Holding his arms to keep him in place, you studied his face to see if he was joking. It didn't seem like he was, he was sincere with his question and was patiently waiting for a response.
"You're always so sudden." he says nothing back.
"You want to be my boyfriend?" you ask and he nods.
"Do you want me to be your boyfriend?" he asks.
No, I want you to be my husband. For a second, your eyes glimmered. You nodded with a smile on your face. "Yeah!".
You amusingly giggled at his approach. He had a huge smile and was looking deep into your eyes, but that all dropped in a second. His expression changed and he pinched his nose.
"What's wrong?" you asked confused.
He clicks his tongue. "I couldn't wait. I was planning on a more romantic setting to ask you or something." his arms were crossed and he legit looked frustrated with himself.
"No, no. That was great! Super cute move!" you reassured with honesty, holding two thumbs up.
When he saw your happy face, his expression softened. His left hand was on his waist, his right hand wrapped around your shoulder, his chest got closer to your face, you felt his lips touch the top of your head. He pulls back.
"My girlfriend." He exclaims admiringly.
You grinned shyly.
"The line up's about to start. Don't lose too early, we have to finally fulfil the battle of the trash can.".
"We'll beat you when that time comes!" he says proudly.
"You wish, Ukai-kun!".
"GF, call me Keishin." he deliberately calls you 'GF' to make you feel flustered, and it did. You proceeded to cringe jokingly.
"Then you can call me (name), Keishin-kun.".

Ukai's POV
We played a decent amount of games, beaten challenging opponents, and have reached far. Tsubakihara, Inarizaki, and now...
Karasuno vs Nekoma.
The game just ended, and we're now finishing with the formalities.
The sweaty players shake hands under the net. As for me, I was shaking the hand of Nekomata-san, thanking him for the great competition. Then I did the same with Naoi-kun. They both returned the gesture.
Now, (name)-chan is in front of me, holding out her hand. I look down at it, then back at her. I raise my hand, but instead of shaking it with hers, I reach behind her back to give her a quick hug.
I felt her body stiffen, then relax after a few seconds. She mustn't have expected it.
"Oh, would you look at that." the game's commentator says, unknowingly to us as we broke from the hug.
"Good game." I say to her.
"Good game." She says back.
The commentator's remark brought the attention of the players and a portion of the audience to me and (name)-chan.
"I wish I had my phone." Tanaka says.
Kuroo and Yaku bump fists.
Hinata high fives Nishinoya.
Naoi-kun was giving a wide, almost evil smirk.
Kiyoko's giggling somewhere in the side.
Nekomata-san appears beside (name)-chan.
Wait- shit.
He was looking at me strangely.
"Hehe. Nekomata-san," I say awkwardly.
"Keishin, I'll have a drink with your grandfather sometime, and you're joining us.".
"Eh- sure Nekomata-san." I gulp. The way he said it was intimidating.

Your POV
"(name)-chan, you're dating Keishin?" your sofu asks. Actually, he just wants to clarify if you're still dating.
"Well... we're in a relationship now." he gives a disapproving glance.
"Huh? But sofu, you seemed fine when everyone was teasing me with him." he didn't look like he was gonna reply so you continued, "And you also knew we were dating.".
"Young love, I thought you weren't gonna go through with him." he says with a bit of sass.
"Did you have many girls before grandma, sofu?".
"Eh- no.".
"You don't like him for me?" you were curious about his sudden dislike.
"We'll see." he waves you off. "Our game strategies are contrasting, I see him as a competitor. With regards to your relationship, we'll see.".
"Oh, okay. He's a good person."
"Good person." he silently scoffs. "What type of good person tricks people.".
"Huh?" Trick? Who did Keishin-kun trick?
"Those synchronised attacks, those crazy quicks..." he curses.
"Those aren't tricks, sofu. It's real gameplay and strategy. It's actual talent." you laugh.
"Whatever." he says like a child.
Inuoka suddenly comes up from the seat behind us "Are we gonna get some food, coach?".

Ukai's POV
I'm waiting in front of a convenience store near our accommodation. A car stops in front of me, and I get in.
In the drivers seat is a beautiful woman. I give her a kiss on the cheek, which made her blush.
"Thanks for coming with me." she says.
"Of course." I say.
"Can you hold this for me please." she reaches for something in the back seat, and hands me a...
fish bowl?
"What's this for, (name)-chan?".
"You'll see." she smirks.

Minutes later, we arrive at a small house. (name)-chan rings the doorbell, and we're greeted by a girl who's about her age.
"Oh hi, (name)-chan! What brings you here?"
"Magumi-chan, hi! I'm here to return your fish." she says.
"It's only been... what? Like a month? And you can't take care of it anymore?"
"No... it's been about a month and I got a boyfriend."
Oh, so that's what it was.
I'm guessing her friend was kinda shocked, since she didn't reply immediately.
"Really?!" the friend says.
"Yes hehe.".
Her friend starts laughing "You're so witty, (name)-chan! Announcing your relationship status by returning my fish!". (name)-chan smiles at her before the friend continued to speak. "So tell me about it, who's the lucky guy?".
"Megumi-chan, it's late. We'll talk next time. We're going now. Bye!" (name)-chan quickly says and pulls me with her towards the car.
"Huh? We? Wait- (name)-chan is that him?!"
(name)-chan waves from where we were now which was halfway to the car, signifying her friend not to bother asking for now.
"Well drive safe!" Her friend says.
"We will! Thanks!" (name)-chan says back.
She lets go of my hand when we reached my side of the car, but I didn't proceed to go in. I followed (name)-chan to her side and opened the door for her. I put my hand on the top part to prevent her from hitting her head.
After she got in, I went to my own seat. I reached out to hold her hand and lifted it up to my lips to kiss the back of it. She looks at me and I smile at her.
She smiles back "I'm taking you out for milktea.".
