I wondered what was wrong with Vincent? He hasn't talked to anyone today. Usually he'd talk to me but now he's just always in the parts and service room. I wondered if he's ok...
I open the door to find Vincent hooking up some anamatronic parts. Then I asked "Hey Vincent. What's the matter? You haven't spoken to me today like you always do". I didn't get a response. Finally he said something in a whisper I couldn't tell what he was saying but I think he said "I'm tired". Then I ask"Why are you tired? Its 10:00am". He answered back with "I couldn't sleep last night". I knew he lying because he always lies when hes backed up in the corner. I know him and he probably thinks I would fall for it. I simply said "Ok but your shifts coming up. I would wrap it up if I were you or the boss will catch you". He said "Fuck the boss...I'll be right there".
I wait for him in the office as always and it took him a longer time to get here. I check the cameras to see what was going on and I see that he's starting at the children from where the door is to the parts room. I called his name on the walkie and he started to run over here.
He said out of breath "Oh shit...I'm sorry I got carried away for a sec". I said "what happened? You were blankly starring at the children. The parents started looking at you in a strange way. "They did?" He said while holding a drink. "Yeah they were about to take their children home" I laughed at the face Vincent was making as I said it.
It was almost closing time and I was getting ready to leave, I decided to say goodnight to Vincent and as I did he smiled and waved back at me "Night!" He yelled.
