“Hey, why is your boyfriend staring at me like that” Hayama asked you as he stared, hesitantly, back at the red-headed captain.
“Hmm, I don’t know, but it looks more of a glare…” Mibuchi joined in the fray as he inspected his expression.
“These muscles look good” Nebuya stated which pissed everyone off again.
“Shut up, just get on with practice” Chihiro sighed at the rest the team.
“Maybe he’s on his period again…” all of your eyes widened from what you had said but laughs were filled throughout the gym.
“Tell me, what am I on again?” a stern and scary voiced scared the rest of the team away, leaving you to take care of your furious boyfriend.
“O-Oh Sei-kun! I-I…W-What are you talking about haha…” your voice cracked as you stuttered. Nowhere near convinced, he continued to smile but glare with his heterochromatic eyes which scared the living daylight out of you since you knew where this was going.
“Hmm? I think you know exactly what I’m talking about.”
“F-fine! The rest of the team made me do it. I swear!”
The rest of the team, except for Chihiro, looked at you in disbelief, “(NAME)! HOW COULD YOU?!?! WE WERE GOING TO PROTECT YOU!!” they all cried. You turned your head to glare at them and once you turned back to Akashi, you started to feel really intimidated.
Akashi wasn’t smiling anymore, all you saw now was anger and annoyance.
“(Name), if you’re here to distract the team, it’s quite best if you don’t come at all” Akashi’s words made you feel ashamed of yourself since you knew that you were quite a bother ever since the day you came to watch practice.
Trying your best to remain unhurt, you walked away from Akashi and proceeded to leave the gym.
“Hey, Akashi, that was kind of mean, besides it wasn’t her fault, it was Kotarou’s” Mibuchi said to Akashi with a gentle smile. “Make it up to her.”
Akashi let out a dissatisfied sigh and proceeded to leave the gym, just when he opened the door, he spoke out to them.
“Kotarou, your training menu is doubled, be sure not to talk to (Name) at all times do you understand?”
Hayama nodded frantically while holding the ball to cover his face. Akashi glanced at the rest of the team and stated, “Same goes for the rest of you.”
Mibuchi smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

You were walking home alone feeling frustrated with yourself. You felt so embarrassed from what Akashi said. ‘Maybe it is true that I’m a distraction. Should I break up with him?’ you thought sadly.
You let out a frustrated scream and started to rant all your thoughts away.
“Stupid Kotarou. Stupid me. Stupid Akashi. I hate you-”
“Do you really?” a voice said with a hint of sadness behind you.
You instantly turned to see no-one other than your boyfriend, standing with his head hung low. When you saw his expression, you felt a sudden pain in your chest.
“No…I’m sorry…I didn’t mean it, I just love you so much…but seeing that I’m a distraction, maybe we should break-”
Suddenly, Akashi gave you a rough but sweet kiss and wrapped his arms around your waist in a secure hug. Not wanting this moment to end, you kissed him and hugged him back.
Once you both pulled away, Akashi lifted your chin up so he could look you in the eyes.
“Please don’t…I love you, it’s just that I don’t want you to talk to anyone but me…I love you, I love you, I love you (Name)…I’m sorry.”
Unnatural Akashi seemed, you didn’t question him, instead, you forgave him with another kiss.
“Am I still a distraction though?”
“You’re my distraction, (Name).”
