He drove for thirty minutes then pulled off onto a dirt road.
'Aww sweet, you brought me out here to kill me' I tease. Since he is so close I can mind link with him. I don't use it often but he is still driving. I feel him laugh.
'Yeah, because driving you out here just kill you is so much more fun then that' he says.
'Then what' I ask.
'Look ahead' he tells me. I do moving my head to look over his shoulder. Holy shit!
It's like a big giant fair out in the middle of nowhere. Freaking bright light galore.
'Holy crap' I say happily. He chuckles.
'Is this to romantic for you' he ask.
'No way. Hurry' I chirp practically bouncing in my seat. He chuckles again speeding up. He pulls in going to the front parking where motorcycles can park. I jump off once he parks taking off my helmet. "Let's go." I chirp pulling on his arm.
"Give me a second women." he say chuckling getting off. I sigh heavily tapping my foot. Impatient? Why yes, I am. He puts my helmet up then grabs my arm pulling me. "Let's go impatient." he says. I pretty much skip behind him.
He goes up getting us tickets and a bracket so we can ride rides unlimited times. We go inside walking around first. Just seeing what's around. Then we start to ride rides and then play games. We go back and fourth from rides to games for a while.
We talk and I don't know why but we even hold hands too. We talk, joke, and eat. I was actually having a good time. We stayed well into the morning. Brody told me it was a twenty four hour fair that stayed for a week. I thought that was pretty cool.
We didn't go straight home because sadly we still had energy to burn. So he drove for a little bit then stopped at McDonald's getting us breakfast then drove us to the lake. I was okay with it because like I said, I was actually having fun. Once we got there, he pulled over to a little a little picnic area where we sat in top of the table and starting eating.
"So?" he ask.
"So?" I mimic.
"Your going to make this difficult aren't you?" he ask me.
"What difficult?" I ask innocently. He rolls his eyes smiling. I know what he is getting at. I'm not stupid you know.
"Us being together?" he ask me. I sigh heavily.
"Brody are you sure you want that?" I ask skeptically.
"Yeah why wouldn't I?" he ask me.
"To be with me you'd have to be king?" I tell him truthfully. He scrunches up his face in disgust.
"Oh, I forgot about that." he says. I cock an eyebrow.
"How could you forget something like that?" I ask amused.
"It's easy when your being Sage Sage." he tells me with a shrug.
I nod in agreement because even sometimes I forget when I'm being Sage Sage. He sighs.
"How about we just give this a try and see where it takes us and if it works out then you can ease me into this king shit." he offers.
"Are you sure you want to be with me though? I mean I am a snot nosed brat after all." I tease. He groans.
"Your never going to let me live that down are you?" he ask.
"Not on your life your Highness." I answer chuckling making him laugh.
"Okay, I deserve it." he admits. I nod in agreement. "But seriously your not that bad. As long as I get to see Sage Sage most of the time I think I can deal." he says. I nod again. I can deal with that because to be quite honest I like being Sage Sage. Because that's who I am. And I don't think giving him a second chance would be that bad. He is a great guy. He is my mate. Sheesh there's quite a lot of reasons to say yes actually.
"No cheating." I say. He nod in agreement. "No pressuring me into mating you." I say. He nods again. "No trying to kill me off." I say. He doesn't do anything then just looks at me.
"Shit forget it then." he huffs. I giggle at that. "See now you go taken all the fun out of it." he says throwing his ball up wrapper at me.
"Damn it man." I sigh dramatically. "See there's another reason not too. I suck the fun out of everything." I say. He nudges my shoulder with his.
"Nah you make things more interesting." he says.
"Oh, I make things real interesting." I say wiggling my eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm sure you could Princess Stuck Up." he teases.
"You'll have to wait and see King Asshole." I say.
"So does that mean your giving a chance Queen Self Absorbed?" he ask me.
"Yeah, but only one Brody. So don't fuck it up. King Dill Hole." I say.
"Same goes for you Queen Snot Nose." he says. That's how the rest of the night morning whatever went. We called each other king and queen whatever while we talked. Until I started yawning.
Then he thought it would be a good idea if we went home. I agreed of course because no matter how much fun I was having I was tired. So we went home and got busted.
"Out all night huh?" Uncle Luke ask amused but Aunt Rhonda had her arms across her chest and tapping her foot.
"Man I told him over and over to bring me home but he just wouldn't listen." I say in mock disappointment shaking my head.
"Oh bullshit!" Brody says. "Come on Brody just one more time please it was so good." he says moaning at the end. My jaw drops. Oh that little shit. "Please Brody, they'll never know." he says. "Just one more time please baby." he says. Aunt Rhonda is glaring at me and Uncle Luke has this horrified look on his face.
"Oh my god Brody!" I say horror hitting him.
"Yeah heard that too." he says.
"Brody!" I yell.
"And that." he says. I can't believe him.
"You wish jackass." I huff. "I swear nothing happen." I say defending myself. "He just took me to a fair." I grunt.
"What fair? I didn't know there was a fair in town." aunt Rhonda says.
"It's not in town it was thirty minutes away." I say. Brody shakes his head no.
"She's lying." he grunts.
"Brody I swear to god." I huff.
"Sage." Aunt Rhonda says warningly.
"Oh god really Aunt Rhonda?" I ask. "You believe monkey butt over here?" I ask pointing to Brody. He is so about to lose it. He is having a horrible time trying to keep in his laughter. Payback. "Uncle Luke he took me to a lake and seduced me!" I fake cry. It was Brody's turn to drop his jaw.
"Brody." Aunt Rhonda says warningly.
"I didn't do anything!" he says defending himself. "I just took her to a fair." he adds quickly.
"He's lying. He took me for a ride Uncle Luke. He took advantage" I fake sob.
"Both of you to your rooms now!" Uncle Luke orders.
"Yes sir." we both choir. We walk off.
"Your horrible." Brody mumble. I start laughing then.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to play with fire?" I snicker. "You'll always get burned." I laugh.
"Oh, but it was so worth it just to see yours and Rhonda's faces." he laughs.
"It was wasn't it?" I ask. "Yours was priceless." I snicker as we get into the elevator.
"Mine? I never knew your face could get so red." he laughs.
"I was not blushing!" I protest.
"Oh, but you were. You were as red as a tomato." he snickers. I elbow him in the gut getting off the elevator. He pulls me back giving me a quick kiss.
"Night Princess." he says.
"Night asshole." I say.
