Time passed rapidly,
It's a fine November evening.
The weather it's not that cold, but theres a chilly air that could cause a sore throat.
Y/n just finished double Transfiguration , the class right before lunch.
She shared this class with Goyle and Blaise, the latter was her seat mate.
The three of them were walking towards the Great Hall to meet the rest of the group
'Nice scarf you have there' stated Blaise breaking the silence
'Oh thanks, Narcissa gave it to me' replied y/n looking proudly at her scarf
'She's a very kind woman I must tell, my mom and her are friends' said Blaise looking at the girl that was just as tall as him
'She's also a friend of my mom' replied y/n with a little enthusiasm
Goyle was too hungry to hold a conversation
They reached the Great Hall and all of their friends were already there.
Y/n slowly started to grow less shy around them, especially with her roommates.
'Hi guyss!' Greeted Daphne waving at the three as they took a sit
'Hello' said y/n sitting in front of Daphne.
The only sit available was beside Draco, but she didn't complain.
Draco was always so kind to her, at least he tried, he couldn't disappoint his mother right?
He was so kind with her, but spiteful towards the Gryffindors.
Y/n noticed this, she thought he was just jealous of the fame Harry got.
'Anything funny happened today at class?' Asked Blaise to the rest while food magically appeared on front of them
Y/n carefully placed some chicken and potatoes on her plate, she liked potatoes because it has so many ways to be cooked and all of them are delicious
'Me, Draco , Daphne, Millicent and Clabbe had Herbology right?' Started saying Pansy chuckling in between the words
Blaise, Goyle and y/n nodded while eating
Draco looked annoyed, y/n notice and thought that the story was probably about him
'We had to re-pot Mandrakes and- HAHA!' Pansy couldn't explain clearly since she couldn't stop laughing at the thought
'It wasn't that funny!' Hissed Draco from beside y/n
'It was!' Replied Daphne laughing
'Since no one can continue the story I'll do it' stated Millicent
'Basically Draco's finger got stuck in it's mouth HAHAHAH!' Let go Millicent
Everyone laughed and y/n chuckled lightly, Draco noticed.
He liked the smile on her face, maybe I should try to make her laugh more often he thought to himself

Right after lunch y/n had double DADA with Pansy,Draco,Crabbe and Goyle.
The DADA teacher, professor Quirrel, was a rather odd person.
Classes were really boring for y/n, she knew more than her peers in almost every subject.
Y/n couldn't stop thinking about the fact that she hadn't got any letters from her parents.
she didn't expect anything from her father, at least from her mother..but nothing instead she received a few letters and gifts from Narcissa
The bell rang and the y/h/c haired girl slowly put her things in her bag, sorrowfully, with the gaze lost in the void
Little did she know that the boy from beside her noticed her sudden change of mood
'Hey, are you okay?' Asked Draco
She didn't notice him waiting for her
'Uhm? Oh yes I-I'm just tired..I guess' she responded finally standing up
'Alright, let's meet the others for dinner shall we?'
Y/n nodded and followed the boy
'I'm excited for the Astronomy class!' Admitted Pansy before taking a sip of pumpkin juice
'I'll rather sleep at 10 pm, but I guess it'll be fun staying up even after the carefew' stated Millicent from beside her
'Astronomy it's actually one of my favourite subjects' said Malfoy
'No wonders Draco' chuckled Theodore
'What about you y/n? Do you like astronomy?' Asked Draco to the girl sitting in front of him
'I think it's pretty interesting' she admitted taking bites of dessert

'One last thing,I won't hold you for long since you must be tired' said professor Sinistra looking at the sleepy faces of some of the first years
'I want you to hand in next week a research about one constellation of your choice, it will be a work in pair' the professor continued
Y/n looked around and it looked like everyone already got a workmate..
Daphne and Theo, Crabbe and Goyle, Pansy and Millicent and Blaise and a Slytherin girl she didn't know
A tap on her shoulder caused her to turn around
'I guess we have to be workmates,if it's not a problem' said Draco,kinda embarrassed
'Oh yes I see' awkwardly replied y/n
'Okay class, this is it for tonight. Please head straight to your dorms' dismissed the professor
The group headed to the common room whispering to each other
'What constellation should we do?' Asked Draco
'Draco?' replied y/n
'Yes?' He said confused
'No, I mean the constellation..Draco' reiterated y/n
'Yes I know we're talking about the constellation, but which one' he replied
'Draco, the constellation Draco. The one you're named after'
'Oh I-I , yeah that's what I was thinking about too' he replied looking away from her to hide his blushing
'Yes totally' said y/n chuckling a little
'Pureblood' muttered Daphne and the portrait swung open
'Good night guys'
'Good night girls'
'Byee'
'Nightt'
The group separated to go to their rooms
'Ughhh I'm so tireeeeed' groaned Millicent dropping dead asleep on her bed
'Hello there love' said y/n to her cat as it started to cuddle unto her
'Alright goodnight everybody!' Said Pansy getting into the covers
'Goodnight!' Replied Daphne
'Night' replied y/n
Millicent was already asleep from the very second she touched the bed
Y/n carefully placed her necklace on her nightstand and moved a little to give Amethyst a little space.

'Today we will be brewing the Cure for Boils, does anyone know what are it's effects?' Asked professor Snape with his monotone voice, walking around the classroom
At this point y/n was used to his voice, during the first lessons she usually fell asleep
Two hands immediately rosed up
One enthusiastically and one slightly bored, now guess who!

'Dried nettles, 6 snake fangs, 4 horned slugs, 2 porcupine quills, Pungous Onions, Flobberworm Mucus , Ginger root and Shrake spines.' Y/n replied effortlessly causing the amusement of the other students
'Very impressive' stated the professor
'Ten points to Slytherin. Now work with your desk mate, everything you need to know is in the book'
Obviously he had to give us points thought y/n not being annoyed by it
'Alright, let's get the Ingredients' stated Draco standing up and y/n followed behind
Once they got everything they needed they started to work
Draco was crushing the snake fangs and y/n was cutting the Pungous Onions
'Can we start working on the astronomy assignment tonight in the common room?' Asked Draco in a low voice scared of getting caught by Snape
'Yes sure, but first we need to get a few books from the library' whispered back y/n placing the ingredients in the cauldron
Draco nodded stirring the mixture
The boy carefully turned off the fire before adding the Porcupine quills
'Y/n, if you please' said the boy to his potions partner
Y/n smiled a little before waving the wand over the cauldron, a pink smoke coming from the mixture announced the successful work of the two
'Y/l and Malfoy, your potion is perfect. You can leave early' stated the professor
Everyone else were still struggling, Blaise and Theo too.
