Once they arrived at Bad's house, Dream knocked on the door twice before standing back. The door swung open, revealing a dark-haired male wearing a blue sweatshirt with a pair of jeans. He held a sword defensively. Once he spotted them, he sheathed his sword, saying, "Dream! George! what brings you two here?" he embraced them tightly, causing George to gasp in pain.

"It's good to see you to Skeppy, but we need to see Bad. George got himself hurt this morning, and it's been getting worse."

"Oh! Of course, come on in." Skeppy said, holding the door open for them. Dream helped George inside. However, Skeppy stepped in front of Sir Quackity, saying, "You have to stay outside. Bad and I aren't big fans of your kind," he narrowed his eyes shutting the door. Not letting him defend himself as he turned to Dream, saying, "put George on the couch. I'll go get Bad." Before rushing up the stairs to their shared bedroom.

Dream quickly laid George down on the couch, trying not to hurt him too much as he said, "are you comfortable? Do you need anything?"

George gave him a small smile before grimacing in pain as he said, "I'm fine, Dream. You don't need to worry so much."

Dream was about to reply, but before he could, Skeppy came running down the stairs dragging a confused-looking Bad down with him, who said, "Skeppy! What the muffin is this about? I was in the middle of practicing-" he gasped when he saw George laying on the couch. A concerned Dream holding his hand tightly, Bad rushed over to George's side, gently pushing Dream out of the way as he said, "oh my goodness! You poor muffin. What happened?"

Dream answered, "George ran into some trouble at the market this morning. I thought it was just a few bruises, but now he's having trouble moving without pain."

Bad nodded before lifting George's shirt to examine the damage done. All three of them gasped. The bruise was much worse now, spreading from the middle of his chest down his entire side. It was a dark purple color with yellow at the edges; Bad said, "I have to make sure it's not broken since healing bruises is an entirely different spell from healing broken bones. This is going to hurt George. Are you ready?" George nodded before bracing himself as Bad pushed on his injured ribs, causing George to cry out in pain. Dream whispered comforting things into his ear, holding his hand as George squeezed as hard as possible. Bad muttered an apology working as quickly as he could. As soon as he finished checking for a break, he sat back on his heels, pulling his hands away as he said, "there's at least one broken rib there, possibly two, so this is going to be painful since I have to move the bone back in place before I can heal it,"

George nodded, but as Bad continued, he grabbed his hands, stopping Bad in his tracks as he said: "wait can you give me just a moment?" Before releasing his hands.

"Of course," Bad said, sitting back on his heels. Skeppy, who had been standing near the end of the couch, then moved to crouch behind Bad, wrapping his arms around him and whispering something in his ear that caused Bad's entire face to turn as red as a tomato as he gently smacked Skeppy's shoulder, saying loudly "Skeppy! Don't say stuff like that!"

Skeppy burst out laughing, still holding onto Bad as he said, "you should see your face. You're so red!"

Bad pushed him away, saying, "you muffin head." Making Skeppy laugh harder as he fell over, landing on Dream, who rolled his eyes at the two pushing Skeppy off him.

Skeppy soon got a hold of himself, sitting up and saying, "sorry, Bad, I had to." Bad, however, didn't reply, choosing instead to glare at him before turning away in a huff crossing his arms, "aww, Bad, don't be like that," Skeppy said as he moved closer, wrapping his arms around Bad's waist once more snuggling his head into his neck giving Bad chills as his breath hit his neck. Bad laid his head on top of Skeppy's instinctively as Skeppy looked up at him, giving him puppy dog eyes as he said, "do you forgive me?"

Bad struggled with keeping up his fake mad act as he sighed, giving up and turning around, wrapping Skeppy into a proper hug, saying, "fine, I guess I can forgive you, you muffin."

Skeppy squealed in delight picking Bad up and swinging him around as he said, "THANK YOU, THANK YOU!"

Bad laughed, saying, "Your welcome, now put me down!"

Skeppy abruptly stopped dropping Bad as there was a knock at the door. Skeppy immediately turned serious. Drawing his sword, he headed to answer the door. The other three could hear the conversation as Skeppy opened the door, saying, "Who's there." However, his defensive attitude quickly dropped into an annoyed one as he said, "What do you want?"

Sir Quackity, who stood outside, said, "we need to move. We're supposed to be at the palace before sundown."

Skeppy shrugged, saying, "not my problem. You knock on the door again, though. You and I will have problems."

Before going any further with his threats, though, Bad rushed to his side, pushing Skeppy back into the house before turning to the guard, saying, "sorry about him. He's had a rough day. We'll be done in just a minute, though, don't worry." Before shooting him a nervous smile shutting the door as he turned to Skeppy, scolding him for being rude. Skeppy brushed him off, muttering something under his breath about royal guards being a pain in the neck, before going back to the couch sitting down on its arm near George's feet. Bad returned to his position on the floor, saying, "Alright, George, are you ready?" George nodded hesitantly.

Bad hovered his hands over George's side, muttering under his breath. His hands began to emit a slight red glow as George let out a hiss of pain, squeezing Dream's hand to stop himself from crying out again. A few minutes later, a slight clicking sound was heard, and George relaxed slightly. Then Dream watched as the bruises on George's side slowly faded, making George relax even more as his eyes droop until he was sound asleep on the couch.

Once he had fallen asleep, Bad sat back on his heels, the red glow disappearing from his hands as he wiped the sweat from his brow, saying, "I hate using that spell. It's always exhausting." Skeppy quickly sat behind him, wrapping his arms around Bad's waist and pulling him into his lap. Bad was way too tired to stop him as he began playing with his hair. Eventually, his soft snores echoed through the living room.

Skeppy continued to play with his hair absently as he turned to Dream, speaking quietly to avoid waking up the sleeping two. "So why are you traveling with one of them?"

"We have to go to the palace, and he has to accompany us there." Dream spoke quietly as he played with George's hair.

"You two were summoned as well?" Skeppy asked in surprise, looking up at Dream sharply.

"What do you mean as well? Don't tell me that Schlatt summoned you two."

"He did, he wanted one of his guards to accompany us, but I refused. I don't trust those bastards." Skeppy said, scowling at the ground as he stopped playing with Bad's hair causing Bad to whine slightly, but he went quiet soon after, snuggling into Skeppy's chest as he shifted in his sleep. "We were preparing to head to the castle when you two arrived."

"I see," Dream said, then he got an idea. "Hey, what if we travel together? Since both of us are heading in the same direction and all."

"I don't know. Dream neither one of us like royal guards. If you're going to be traveling with one of them, I don't think it would be a good idea for us to travel with you."

"Well, then we can tell the guard to go ahead without us. It seems that George and Bad need some sleep before we leave anyway. Come on, Skeppy, please?" Dream said almost pleadingly.

Skeppy thought before saying, "Alright, if you can convince the guard to leave, we'll travel with you."

Dream smiled widely before standing, saying, "Great, then I'll go talk to him now and see what he says about it."

Skeppy nodded as Dream went and talked to the guard. A few moments later, he came back, practically jumping with joy as he sat back down near George's head, saying, "Sir Quackity agreed to let us travel without him saying that he was tired of waiting on us anyway. He also mentioned that he would talk to Schlatt and get us in tomorrow instead of today. That way, these two can rest through the night."

Skeppy nodded, standing up as he gently picked up Bad, saying, "Alright then, if that's the case, you are more than welcome to sleep over here. I know Bad won't mind. You two can either sleep on the couch down here. Or we have a guest bedroom upstairs if you want to sleep there. I'm going to head to bed since Bad will sleep for the rest of the night then all day tomorrow as he usually does after using a powerful spell like that."

"Thank you, Skeppy. I'm just going to crash down here; I don't want to risk disturbing George." Skeppy nodded before heading upstairs to bed. Soon after, Dream climbed onto the couch with George, placing George on top of himself before falling asleep.
