The exercise is to hit the highly agile jet. Su35s is a very agile (au note: hard to shoot down in my opinion when i play multiplayer) jet in favor to many pilots alike, it even rivals the 37 47 30 & 57, perrine takes a shot but strider 6 sees this & did a PSM.
