Valentina's POV:
I was in my room sketching when Enzo came in my room asking me to come down for dinner.
I went downstairs to the dinning room.
"Hey Val excited for school tomorrow?", Matteo asked
Ya think?!
"Oh yeah very excited", I say sitting down in my chair.
(Note the sarcasm)
"You don't look like you are", Matteo chuckled.
"Yeah? Maybe because I'm not", I muttered.
"Why? I've seen your grades from your previous school, you're good in studies except math though", Ales asked curiously.
"Yeah, but just because I manage to get good marks doesn't mean that I like school and plus that's not the reason I don't want to go to school", I sigh
"Then why bambina?", Elijah asked frowning
"It's gonna suck being the new student. Everyone will stare and it's just ahhh", I say frustrated
Everyone chuckled.
"You're too cute bambina", Enzo smiled.
I glare at him which makes him laugh even more.
"Don't worry Val tomorrow is gonna be fine", Xander assured
"Yeah besides no one will mess with you because you're our sister", Xavier said smugly.
"Yeah no one messes with the Costellos", Matteo grinned
"Great I'm gonna get more attention than normal now", I sighed
"It'll be fine don't worry tesoro", Dad chuckled.
"We'll discuss some rules in the morning", Ales said
"Obviously", I muttered rolling my eyes.
"Valentina", Ales warned sternly
I sighed and finished the dinner. I went to my room after saying good night to everyone.
I entered my room and arranged everything that I need tomorrow so even if I'm late I don't miss anything.
When I was picking out some clothes I saw mom's box. I suddenly remembered about the letter mom had written for dad that I forgot to give him.
I immediately opened the box, took the letter and walked towards dad's office. I knew he would be there working.
I reach his office and knock on the door. I heard a come in so I go in and saw dad working on his laptop.
"Hey Dad I wanted to give you something", I said walking towards his desk.
"Yeah? What is it?", He asks curiously.
I give him the letter.
"What is this Val?", He asked looking athe envelope.
"When mom died she told me to check this box and give you what she left for you when I meet you. When I opened the box there were two letters, one for me and one for you, I forgot to give this to you earlier so I'm giving it now", I say smiling.
He stared at me in surprise and then the letter.
"Oh.. okay Val thanks", He said a bit shocked.
"Bye dad goodnight", I say leaving.
"Goodnight", He said still looking at the letter.
I go to my room and thought of calling Ryan and Stacy
Me:
Hey guys!
Stacy:
Heya Val!
Ryan:
Wassup bitch
Me:
I'm starting school tomorrow
Ryan laughed:
Oh really? have fun.
Stacy laughed:
Yeah it's gonna be hilarious tomorrow.
Me:
Shut up guys! I'm gonna be the new student, ughh is annoying.
Stacy:
Chill it's gonna be fine.
Ryan:
Yeah it'll be over before you know.
Stacy:
Make new friends, but you dare not replace us bitch or else imma gonna whoop your ass.
Ryan:
Yeah we better be your best friends forever and don't forget us
Me:
of course not guys, you are irreplaceable. Also, do you know my extended family visited us recently and I have 11 more brothers, two uncles and aunts and grandparents.
Ryan:
Holy shitt!
Stacy:
Damn girl.. any sister?
Me:
Nope.. only brothers.
Ryan:
11 more seriously?!
Me chuckling:
Yeah
Stacy:
So you have 17 brothers now in total?
Me:
Yeah
Ryan:
Damn.. But imma happy for you though you always wanted a huge family.
Me:
Yeah I love them so much.
Stacy:
By the way, we have some news for you too.
Ryan:
Yeah.. We wanted to tell you this before, but didn't get the chance.
Me:
okay what is it?
Stacy:
promise you won't be mad?
Me:
obviously not.. Now tell me what is it
Ryan:
Stacy and I are dating..
After a pause.
Me:
Oh FINALLY! It's high time guys
Stacy:
Huh?
Ryan:
wait what?
Me:
Finally you two idiots realised you like each other!
Stacy:
I'm confused
Me:
oh please I always knew you two liked each other..you just wouldn't admit it.
Ryan:
oh..yeah we admited to each other and started dating last week.
Stacy:
so.. you're not mad?
Me:
why would I be mad? I ship you guys
Stacy:
whew!
Me:
okay guys I have to sleep now. Wish me all the best for tomorrow and pray I survive. Love you guys bye.
Stacy:
lol you'll be fine. Love you too.
Ryan:
Yeah drama queen you'll make it out alive. Love ya byee.
I cut the call and go to sleep grinning about Stacy and Ryan dating.

Vincenzo's POV:
Valentina gave me this letter and just left. I opened the letter and begun reading it.
Dear Vince,
I know you don't like me heck you probably hate me for taking your little angel away. I'm really very sorry Vince I just wanted her to grow up away from all the danger. I thought it was the right decision to leave whether I like it or not.
Trust me it broke my heart to leave you and our sons, but I had to do this for our daughter. I never stopped loving you Vince and I always hated myself for hurting you in this way. I missed you and the boys everyday. I can't tell you how much it killed me being away from you guys. I know you might not believe me right now and it's fine.
Our daughter is so much like you. She is badass, confident and smart. I love the fact that I met you and married you and had 7 lovely kids. Please tell my sons that I love them so much and I'm sorry for leaving like this. I'm sorry for keeping them away from their little sister. I love each one of them, Alessandro, Elijah , Lorenzo, Xander, Xavier and Matteo. They are my everything.
If you're reading this that means you have Valentina now and she gave you this letter. Take care of her, our sons, and most importantly yourself. You will always have me by your side.
I love you so much..I'm sorry Vince for hurting you. I hope you forgive me. I love all of you..

I finished the letter and I realised that I was crying.
I always loved her so much. It broke my heart when she left, but like her I never stopped loving her.
Suddenly there was a knock on my door.
"Come in", I said clearing my throat.
All my son's entered my office. I remembered we had planned to have a meeting in my office regarding the shipment issues we have after Valentina slept.
I wipe my tears, but of course they all saw.
"Dad what happened?", Elijah asked concerned.
"Dad is everything alright?", Enzo asked very worried.
"Nothing don't worry about it", I say sighing.
"Dad I've never seen you cry", Xander says frowning
"Yeah there's definitely something", Xavier said
"Dad I'm worried please tell us what is it?", Matteo said sadly
"Father you know you can always talk to us right? You're clearly upset please tell us what is it. You'll feel better if you share it with us", Ales said softly.
I sigh and tell them about Val coming in and giving me the letter Melanie left for me. I give the letter to Ales and he reads it with the others surrounding him.
They all read the letter curiously. When they finish I see Enzo and Xavier crying, Matteo and Elijah had tears in their eyes ready to spill anytime. Ales sat there still with no emotions, but I'm his father I can see the sad look on his face. Xander was still looking at the letter.
"I know what she did was wrong, but I never stopped loving her you know. I still love your mother will all my heart", I say smiling sadly.
All the six of them come and hug me.
"I know you never stopped loving her dad and I think none of us really did", Ales said
"We were just pissed at her I guess", Elijah said
"She was the best mother though, she loved all of us so much. She even treated our cousins as her own kids", Enzo said wiping his tears
"I don't remember much about her but I remember her tucking me in at night and giving the warmest hugs..after her only Val has given me that warm hug", Matteo said smiling
"She would always save me and Xander from getting punished for our mischief and pranks", Xavier smiled
Everyone chuckled.
"She took Val away and left us", Xander said suddenly
We all look at him. I saw the pain in his eyes. Him and Ales had changed the most when Val was taken away.
"She left us. I haven't forgotten how much pain she caused us. Dad was heartbroken..he lost his only daughter, Ales lost his little angel..we all know how much he changed after that. Elijah had to take her place and give us the motherly love, Enzo started taking care of our health and homework keeping his feelings and pain aside, Xavier cried so much at night asking for Val, Matteo was a freaking baby!", He said angrily tears forming in his eyes.
We all were shocked. Xander never showed emotions with this intensity except anger, but seeing him describe all our pain made me see his pain behind his cold exterior.
Everyone looked at him with tears in their eyes. Xavier was crying seeing his twin so upset. A tear slipped from Matteo and Enzo's face.
I stood up and walked towards Xander.
"I know you took this the hardest Xander, you stopped laughing and playing like you used to with your brothers. You became cold and angry. You stopped trusting anyone. I know it's been very hard son. I know", I say and immediately hug him tight.
Xander sniffs.
"It's okay Xander let it out", I said softly.
The next second Xander started crying loudly holding on to me.
I rub his back and let him cry knowing he needs to let it out.
I turn and saw Elijah hugging Matteo tightly and calming him down. Matteo was crying badly holding his older brother.
Ales hugged Enzo comforting him while Enzo cried.
I opened my arms for Xavier and he saw me and ran toward them and hugged me and Xander tight and cried like his twin.
After some time I gestured all my sons to come join the hug. They all came and stood hugging each other tight.
After some time we released from the hug.
"This felt good", I said smiling
"Yeah I think all of us needed this", Xavier said.
"We finally let out all our pain from our heart", Elijah said
"I feel light", Matteo sighed
"Finally after years my brothers gave me a hug voluntarily especially Ales", Enzo said dramatically.
Everyone laughed shaking their heads.
"Yeah well I needed this too okay, but don't get used to this", Ales said smiling and rolling his eyes.
"Woah rolling eyes and smiling the same day that too our emotionless brother..I'm dreaming, Matteo pinch me", Xavier said shocked.
Everyone chuckled and rolled their eyes. Xander smacked his twin's head.
Matteo still pinched him though.
"Wow the strong dangerous Costellos are crying together. This is a scene I never thought I'll see", Xander said smirking.
"Wayyy to ruin in brother", Enzo said glaring at him.
"I think this is the bond Dad always talked about", I said smiling a bit.
"Yeah", Everyone agreed nodding and smiling.
"Yup, Grandpa's a pro", Matteo smiled
"Okay guys lets go and sleep now..we have work and you guys have school tomorrow and plus we can talk about the shipment issues later", Ales said
"I agree, goodnight kids", I said walking towards my room
"Goodnight Dad", Everyone says and goes towards their room.
Ales and I go check on Valentina first.
We slowly open the door of her room and saw her sleeping peacefully.
"She has made our lives better and brighter without knowing", I whispered smiling
"Yeah she has got all our old selves back and made us happier", Ales said softly.
"She's truly an angel", I smile
"Thank you little sister", Ales whispered even though she won't hear him.
We then close her door and leave towards our room saying goodnight to reach other.
