2 days till christmas!
so change of plans...my parents will be coming over to darrens house! theyll finally meet him...im so excited. annie and her girlfriend will be joining us as well.
darrens up taking a nap. ive been thinking of what i should make for dinner...you know for christmas. you know a pot-. THATS IT! a potluck. itll be easy for everyone...hopefully.
i head towards the guest room and change out of my pj's and into some jeans and a hoodie...nothing more. i remember this one time i got sick and that day i had no shirt under just the hoodie and when i went to the doctors i had to take my hoodie off. lol very...embarrassing.

i head back to the kitchen and give everyone a call to let them know my plan.
i notice myself began to hum...this happens a lot its weird. darren finds it cute. ill be humming and hes like what song are you humming and im like im humming? i'm humming.
i think its just how i let go of my stress. kind of like when i talk to myself to help me stay at bay.

"errr."
"darren?"
i look up and see darren coming down the stairs.
"careful!" i say.
"heard you humming. should i sing?"
"heard me ey?"
"smile!"
"smile?"
"the song.."
"oh." i said.
"you should sing to me." darren said leaning over the counter.
"maybe next time...my voice is err not so err well."
"pack it up mr. krabs! sing!"
"err i dont know." i gave it a long think, "fine."
"YES! ill get my guitar!"
darren disappeared into another room.
what song? uhh..doja cat? no. kali uchis? err. what?! i know.
"electric or-."
"electric dare!"
"okay!"
*6 minutes later*
"ready?" he asks.
"i think."
i asked darren to play daed to mr by kali uchis. he got excited when i mentioned it.
i began to sing. i closed my eyes of course. ive never really sang infront of anyone, fear of judgment and all.
"i dont know what youve been told...no youre dead to me!"
darren seemed to be getting caught up with the lyrics.
i opened my eyes and saw darren dancing.
oh youre dead to me! youre obsessed with me...could you just leave me alone...woo ohh..." we both sang.
"ugh yes!"
darren put his guitar down and grabbed my hand.
"youre amazing!"
"all you dare. all you"
he picked me up, kissing me on my cheek.
i sat on the couch, tired.
"that was a workout." i joked.
"tell me about *cough* eer *cough* it."
darren once again fell asleep on the couch this time. i grabbed a blanket and covered him.
i kissed his forehead and headed upstairs.
"hey annie."
"hey!"
"whats up?"
"kassie wants to know if its fine if she brings cookies and cake?"
*i changed annies gf name to kassie*
"sure!"
"alright ill tell her. i miss you."
"i miss you too annie." i frown.
"hows darren?"
"better. just finished a sesh."
"oh so your high?"
"NO! haha i meant a singing sesh. we sang. he begged me to haha."
"sounds fun. well talk later? im at work."
"sure. bye!"
