Pregnant Carl Pt.1

I was lying in bed worrying, Carl isn't here he is on a run with Rick for Negan
You are probably wondering why, well I missed my period plus I've felt sick in the morning.
Well and me and Carl do get physical often
I finally get up from all my worrying and go find Daryl.
I find him in the kitchen
"Hey" he looks up and sees my face fully of worry and stress "Wait what's wrong
Daryl is the closest thing to a father I have but we are close like best friends
"I need a test" I say he is confused at first but I think he puts the pieces together
"A pregnancy test" he asks with the at most amount of serious
I nod and I feel tears starting to form
"Hey it's going to be okay, do I take it that it is Carl's" he asks
"Who's else would it be" I say
"I'll get you a test just stop worrying. If you pregnant then we'll deal with it. If not then okay" He says
Wow he's taking this well
"Your not mad" I ask
"Never at you, plus we all here the two of you" he says with a lite chuckle
I got red and he laughs
He leaves to get the test and comes back 10 mins later
He pulls it out from his pocket and hands it to me
"Never thought I'd be doing this" I say
"Why" he asks
"Well I was to young to know if I wanted kids before all this. Carl and I talked about it but we were worried about how they would grow up" I explain
"Well ya still don't know if ya pregnant or not" he says
"Fine I'll go pee on it" I say and walk to the bathroom
I do the test and walk out of the room "Now we wait" I say
"Yeah, and I want you to tell Carl even if your not pregnant. And if ya are when he comes back your telling him" he says
"Tell me what when I get back" Carl asks walking into the house
"Bathroom now" I say to him
"Um okay" he says
We walk into the bathroom and I make sure he is looking at me and not the tests
"Daryl got me a pregnancy test. I might be pregnant, I'm not sure yet. I'm sorry" I say
"Don't be. I know you feel that way because of my mom but I won't let that happen to you my love" he says and kisses me
"Well then we have to look" I say taking a deep breath
I grab the test and put in in front of us
"Your pregnant" Carl says
I look and well I'm going to be a mom
"Oh my god. I'm going to be a mom" I say and a tear rolls down my cheek
"I'm going to be a dad" Carl says cupping my fave with his hands
"I love you" I say
"I love you too" he says and he kisses me
