"Kay where is we going, been driving for damn near 30 minutes" Sin sighed as she rolled down her window
"We going somewhere important. You better not throw up in my car" I said looking at her as she pushed her head a little out the window
"You've been driving for too long, if I do it's really your fault"
"I'm not playing" I said grabbing a corner store bag out the console handing it to her as I noticed her face turning a reddish color. If she even spit in my car it's gonna be me vs her and her lil unborn cause ion play that shit.
"Ok we pulling up now so get it together" I said pulling up to our clinic I looked over at Sin who was already burning a hole into the side of my head.
"Lai what the fuck, why are we here" she said while fixing the shorts she was wearing
"Girl you know why, you need to confirm what we pretty much already know" I said parking the car. Taking off my seatbelt I grabbed my purse before reaching over and taking off Sin's seatbelt.
"Im not going" she said sitting back in the seat
"Yes you are, I ain't drive to a 40 min clinic for no reason" I said getting out the car before walking over to her side
"Come on"
"I'm scared"
"I know. I'm scared as well but we can't just ignore the problem. So be a big girl and get out the car" I said reaching over her and grabbing her purse before grabbing her hand moving her out the car
"Fine" she said while grabbing her purse out my hands while starting to walk inside the clinic. Walking straight to the front desk I let Sin explain why she is here while I replied back to my mom texts.

"Ok just fill out this form and we will call you back in just a few minutes" the front desk lady said while handing her a clip board with a few questions on it. Walking back to the waiting room we both sat down as she began to read and answer each question.
"Mom was asking where we were" I said breaking the silence
"Really, you told her where we were" Sin said as she stopped reading a question before looking back at me
"No, that's between y'all. You can tell her when your ready" I said looking over at her
"Ion know when, ion even know if I'm actually you know" she said looking over at me before continuing to answer the questions
"I know but you shouldn't hide this forever. Trust me it's gon eat you alive"
"Yeah I know-"
"Serenity King" a nurse said cutting Sin off making her look at me with a worried face
"Come on"
Both getting up we followed the nurse into a room where they weighed and check Sin's heartbeat before bringing us into a different room where we waited for the actual doctor to come in. "Uggh I'm nervous" Sin said walking around the room and touching everything
"Relax then, and top touching that. You don't know what that is for" I said laughing watching her sit back down causing her left leg to shake
"ok let me calm down" she said sighing before laying back into the chair
Hearing a knock on the door we both looked to see a female doctor walk into the room. "Hello I am Doctor Zios, which one is the patient again" she said putting hand sanitizer on before sitting down at her desk
"Me" Sin said looking over at her
"Oh ok. How are you" she said while grabbing the clipboard reading over the questions she answered in the waiting room
"I could be better"
"Yeah, we all feel that way sometimes" she said laughing
"Mhmm"
"So you're here because you don't know if your pregnant or not?"
"Yeah, I haven't had my period since ion know 3 months ago" Sin said
"Ok, have you taken any pregnancy tests recently" she said putting on her gloves
"Yeah I've taken 3 tests and they all came back positive"
"Ok, I have 2 tests we can do, the blood or urine, The blood test is more accurate" she said looking over at sin
"Umm I guess we can do blood test"
"Ok, you can set your arm on here. I'm just going to wrap this around your arm" she said getting the needle ready
"You ready"
"Yeah"
Gently putting the needle into her arms I watched as the blood started going through the tube and into a small bag making me gag looking away I held my breath as more blood went into the bag.
"You are so extra lai" Sin said looking over at me
"Yeah after a while you get use to it, I've been doing this for 11 years now" she said laughing looking over at me
"I could never get use to this" I said shaking my head
"Ok, you are all done i'm just going to test your blood really quick and get those result should take no longer than 10 minutes" she said taking the needle out of sin's arm and putting a bandaid on it.
"Ok"
Leaving the room I looked over at sin as she stared at the wall. "You ok sis" I said putting my phone in my lap
"Yeah I'm ok. How i'm gonna tell ma? She will hate me" she said mumbling
"You don't have to tell her right now. But at some point she's gonna find out. Ion like keeping secrets from her but this isn't my place to talk" Looking down at my phone pressed Zaiya name FaceTiming her.
"Hey lai" she said popping up in the camera
"Hey friend" I said sighing
"What's wrong with you, hey Sin I see you in the corner" Zaiya said
"Hi Zaiya" she said lowly
"Why y'all looking all sad"
"Cause I'm nervous as hell. This doctor bout to come back and say I'm a mother"
"Oooh y'all at the clinic. Thats why y'all so dry" Zaiya said looking surprised
"Yep"
"Yay I get to be a auntie" Zaiya said out of no where
Looking at me, sin mugged Zaiya through the camera screen. "Damn too soon" she said laughing
Laughing I looked at Sin's face. "I'm dead" I said still laughing
"Y'all play too much"
"Anyways, you still coming to look at some of the buildings the realtor had texted me this morning"
"Yeah we almost finish with this then I'm coming over, want me to meet y'all there or what"
"You can meet us, some of them we should start on is by your house so you can just meet us then sounds about right" she said
"Ok text the buildings"
"I'm gonna text you right now"
Hearing a knock on the door we both looked to see the doctor coming back with a pieces of paper. Smiling she walked over to her desk signing into the computer making Sin and I look at each other like is the bitch gonna speak or what.
"Soo" sin said looking at her annoyed
"Oh yeah I was just sending your prenatal pills over to the pharmacy downstairs, and you are indeed pregnant about 3 months like you said so you must've conceived her a week before your period.
"Oh my gosh" she said as tears were falling down her eyes putting her face in her lap.
"It's ok sweetie, I know it's a lot to take in at this moment but everything will get better" she said looking down at Sin who was still crying
"You said her pills are downstairs" I said
"Yeah they should be ready by the time you get there-"
"Could I still get the abortion" Sin said cutting the doctor off
"Unfortunately you are far along in your pregnancy" she said looking over at Sin
"Ok" Sin said getting up grabbing her purse and some tissues.
"So I'm going to email you some good ob/gyn doctors that are close to you and some new foods and a nutrient diet I want you to start following as soon as possible because you are just finding out"
"Ok, thank you so much Doctor Zios, have a nice day" Sin said wiping her nose as she walked out the door.
"Thank you" I said grabbing my purse before following her out the door. Walking out the room we went to the elevator in silence as we both waited for the elevator to get to level 1. Hearing it ding I walked to the pharmacy grabbing her pills before following her out the clinic.
"You good sis" I said looking at her as we got in my car
"I guess , I have no choice but to be" she mumbled
"Sin I got your back, I'm happy your going to be mother, you just have to take care of your responsibilities feel me" I said pulling off from the hospital
"Yeah I hear you, now I have to call this nigga uggghhh" she said reclining her seat back
"Do you wanna go back home or you wanna stay over my house" I said looking over at her as I got on the highway
"I can stay over your house" she said closing her eyes
"Ok"

"Oooh I love the backroom, it's super spacious" Zaiya said looking in the backroom as we followed the realtor through the rest of empty building.
"Yeah we could keep all the supplies in this room and extra wigs" I said thinking about what we could put in the storage room.
"Yep then we have the same exact size room it's more storage space again so if you don't want to mixed a lot of supplies in one room there is double the storage space. Walking back into the front I looked at the entire space we had.
"This is a nice building" Zaiya said looking back at me as I agreed with her
"Yeah, we could put this on the yes list" I said looking at the realtor
"Ok, I can definitely put this building on the list" she said writing it down on the list.
"Thank you" we both said walking out the building.
"That was a nice place and had a lot of room" I said following her to our cars
"Ohh I can't wait to we open up we gon be flooding with customers" she said smiling unlocking her door
"Exactly ooh I can't wait either, you coming over to my place, Sin and I having a lil sleepover" I said looking back at her
"Yess girl let me go get some clothes first and ill be over there in a min"
"Ok" I said pulling off from the lot stopping at Chick Fil A waiting in this long as line. "Uh, fuck nigga Ion wanna hear it ain't talkin a bag I cover my ears" I mumbled scrolling through my contacts FaceTiming Sin waiting for her to answer.
"Hello"
"I'm at Chick Fil A what you want"
"A strawberry milkshake" she said looking at something
"That's all" I said mugging her through the camera
"Yeah I ain't really hungry"
"Ok, I got you" I said hanging up
I texted Zaiya to see if she wanted anything from Chick Fil A before I go back to the house

Leaving her on read while pulling up some I parked the car again since I was behind this big ass van that probably had about 18 kids in the backseat so I know I'm gonna be here for a minute.

"I know" I said finally putting my car in drive since the van drove to the next window.
"You want anything from Chick Fil A that's really why I called" I said looking down at my phone
"Uhhh, lemme get that spicy 8 pc nugget and a lemonade"
"Ok" I said rolling my window down
"Hello ma'am welcome to Chick Fil A what can I get for you"
"Hey girl, can I get a regular 8 pc nugget meal and replace the soda for a strawberry milkshake and then can I get a 8 pc spicy nugget and a lemonade" I yelled into the microphone
"That's all?"
"Yes"
"Ok your total will be at the next window"
"Thank you"
Pulling off I drove to the next window rolling my eyes "Cuh what the fuck these people still here" I said getting irritated because the van was still in the window waiting on their food
"Ahh stop all that cussing" I heard Kari say as I sighed
"Leave me alone"

"I'm coming over yo house with Khalil and Imani, these niggas tryna go to the strip club tonight" he mumbled
"Aww yay bring them over I miss them" I said smiling before pulling up giving the lady my card. Grabbing my card back I waited as she she finally handed me 2 bags and then the cup holder with the drinks in it.
"Here, you can keep the cup holder. Thank you" I said setting the drinks in the car cup holder before pulling off
"Hmm you said the strip club hmmm" I said looking down at my phone seeing he was playing his game
"Fuck, why you pass it to him fo" he yelled into his little headset
"Hello" I said a little louder looking down at my phone again waiting for an answer, ignoring me he focused on his game
"Bitch made nigga" I mumbled rushing into the intersection on my way home
"What? Say that one mo time you wasn't loud enough. Pussy" he said looking down mugging me through the camera
"I ain't no pussy na. You heard what I said though" I said smirking
"Mmmm I got you a bitch made nigga. Don't let my food get cold either" he said before hanging up on me
Laughing I turned up my music up pushing 80 damn near all the way too my house. Pulling up to my house I notice Zaiya was already here. Parking the car I got out while grabbing my food, rushing to the door I knocked on the door
"Who is it" I heard Sin yell
"Who else"
Hearing the door unlock I rushed inside running to the kitchen setting everything down before it could fall.
"Why you knocking on your own door" she said making me roll my eyes before looking at her
"I know you just seen me with all that food in my hand" I said while handing her, her milkshake
"Thank you"
"Yep" I said while grabbing Kari food out the bag before walking over to the refrigerator putting his stuff in their including his drink
"Yeah talking all that shit" I said to myself laughing a little knowing he gon be pissed
"Why you put- nevermind nun of my business" I heard sin say before she walked back over to the living room
"Yeah that's best saweetie, where Zaiya" I asked sitting at the end of my couch opening my food
"I think she went to your room to lay down, she looked tired when she got here"
I nodded while scrolling through my timeline. "So have you thought about the situation" I asked looking up at sin who was on her phone as well
"I guess yeah. I made the bed so now I just have to lay in it. I just don't know how to be a mother or if I'm ready to be" she said setting her phone down
"No one is ready to be a mother. It's all about trial and error basically learning along the way" I said dipping my nugget in the Chick Fil A sauce
"Yeah as long as you love your child, they won't know anything else" I heard Zaiya say as she was walking into the living room sitting beside me
"Yep" I said agreeing with Zaiya
"Uggh I can't believe I'm a mothaa" she said smiling on the low making me smirk
"Yeah we all can't, but we got too na. It's official" I said laughing looking over at Zaiya who was agreeing making me look closer at her neck. Making me smirk.
"Hmm that's why you was tired" I said looking at Zaiya
"What you mean" she said looking at me
"Them hickeys on yo neck giving me all the answers I need frienddd" I said laughing

"Hmm saved by the bell I guess" I said laughing while getting up to answer the door already knowing who it was making me roll my eyes. Opening the door I smiled while bending down to pick up Imani

"Hey you got taller missy?" I said laughing while putting her down
"No, I'm still the same height" she said laughing while walking away

Closing the door and locking it I turned to walk back to my food before I got to the living room I was grabbed from the back of the neck making me roll my eyes. "So you gon ignore me na, talking all that shit earlier" he mumbled in my ear
"I ain't ignore you, I just didn't feel the need to talk to you" I said turning around looking at him
"Ion give a damn what you ain't feel like doing" he said while pulling me closer by my neck before gripping on my ass all while looking dead into my eyes.
Leaning down into me he started kissing on my neck almost making me moan before I caught myself. Pushing him away I smiled before looking away
"Stop kissing on me, you was talking all that shit earlier" I said before returning to the couch
"Imani your so adorable" Zaiya said looking over at Imani who was trying to change the channel on the Tv
"Thank you, oooh I love your hair" she said sitting beside Zaiya and started playing in her hair making all of us laugh
"Always was touching something" Khalil said slouching more in the couch

"Anyways, you wanna make hot chocolate I bought some from target" I said looking at Imani

"We good, have fun with your childish ass" Sin said laughing making everyone else agree
"F y'all" I said laughing walking in the kitchen with Imani
"Ok I have Christmas cups in the bottom cabinet, I'll boil the water"

Grabbing a small pot I put hot water in it before turning on the stove letting the water boil. "Should I put the hot chocolate powder in our cups lai" Imani asked
"Yeah"
"Awww I feel so much lighter" I heard Kari say as he walked into the kitchen while rubbing his stomach
"Nasty" I mumbled
"Always mumbling something but can't talk out loud. Pussy" he said whispering the last part
"Your food is in the fridge" I said smiling looking at his facial expression
"Why the fuck you put my food in the fridge. My shit soggy as a bitch na" he said mugging me

"You play too much, I should pour yo dirty ass water in the sink" he said grabbing his food putting it in the microwave still mugging me.
"Don't touch my stuff" I said smiling blocking my boiled water

"I'm sorry, miss dumbass just pissed me off" he said pulling out a 20 dollar bill walking over to Imani handing her the money making her smile.

Hearing my phone ring looking down I notice it was Tay and Ju group Facetiming me I answered it after the second ring
"Hello" I said
"Hi where Kari fathead at, he post to have been here" Tay said while looking at something in the background
"He right here eating his soggy fries" I said laughing giving the phone too Kari so I could transfer the water to our hot chocolate.
"Oooh it smells so yummy" Imani said
"Here let me pour the marshmellows then you can drink it" I said grabbing the bag of marshmellows pouring some into our cups.
"Here carry it to the living room carefully so it don't waste" I said handing her a spoon
"Thank you Lai" she said smiling walking to the living room
"Welcome" I said stirring my hot chocolate while looking back at Kari who was still on the phone with Ju and Tay
"They already there, damn I'll be there in 10 minutes" he said before hanging up the phone
"Aight I'll be back later I gotta handles some business" he said
"Mhmm at the strip club" I said looking over at him
"Ahh don't do to much na, thank you for my cold ass food" he said walking over to me leaning down pulling me into a kiss by my neck
"Damn Kari you so rough for what, gon drop my hot chocolate" I said grabbing his arm that pulled me into the kiss
"Lai you know you liked that shit" he said pecking my lips again before walking out the kitchen making me smile before waking back into the living room

Looking at the time I noticed it was 12 am in the morning and everyone fell asleep in the living room while watching Christmas movies. Looking over at the other couch Khalil and Imani was sleep on that couch and it looked like Imani took all the covers from Khalil making me laugh.
Grabbing my phone I clicked on Instagram scrolling through my timeline since I couldn't fall back to sleep.

What the fuck I thought while waking up Zaiya. "Get up" I said pushing her shoulder. Getting up from the couch I grabbed my Uggs from the door.
"Zaiya get up something happen at the party, they saying Tay got shot and some other shit I ain't gon talk bout" I said getting pissed off at the other shit that I read before the Tay part.
"Call Dee" I said while running to the room to find some sweatpants to put on since I was still wearing my nightgown. Grabbing my north face sweater I ran back down stairs grabbing my keys.
"What hospital y'all at" I heard Zaiya say while I was walking out the front door hearing her walk behind me
"Ok we'll be there in a few, ok bye" she said before hanging up. Unlocking my door I jogged over too the driver seat before starting the car waiting for Zaiya get in, before she could close the door I was backing out if the parking spot
"Damnn Lai, let me put my seatbelt on first. But they at Dignity Health over of a Northridge" she said while putting her seatbelt on. Pushing a 80 in a 60 the whole way to the hospital I pulled up to the hospital in 15 minutes.
"Dammn my friend is a nascar racer" Zaiya said
"Period" I said getting out of the car before running into the hospital building seeing Ju and Shooter and some other niggas in the lobby waiting and some pacing back and forth. Zaiya and I walked up too Dee who was pacing back and forth with blood on his shirt
"What happen" I asked looking at him
"Ion fucking know we was making a deal with a couple of niggas, then outta fucking no where we heard shots. So we all started shooting back and Tay ended up getting shot" he said talking fast as fuck
"What the fuck" I said sitting down in the only open seat
"Shoot is over there, you ain't see him" Dee said pointing to Kari who was pacing back and forth by the front desk with blood on his shoes and everything. Swallowing my pride I walked over to him, standing directly in front of him
"Are you ok" I said looking at him with a mug on my face
Looking at me out the corner of his eye for 5 seconds before continuing to pace the floor. Shrugging my shoulders I walked back over to my seat before leaning back in it while my left leg shaking up and down
I was trying to be nice to his stupid ass because his friend is hurt but he wanna ignore me for fucking what ion know. While he over there letting bitch's fuck on him at the party. Shaking my head I just stared at him as he found the nearest seat to the front desk before putting his head in his hands leaning down.
Rolling my eyes I just looked around at all the niggas that came to the hospital all covered in some kind of blood.
"Family and Friends of Tay'von Brixton" a doctor said walking into the lobby with a clipboard in his hand made all of our attention go to him.
