Summary: It's literally just JJ being protective/jealous.

- JJ can be, at times, very protective of you;
- That can be taken in the context of physical protection and physiological;
- That might not make much sense but I'll break it down to you...
- Physiological protection is literally when JJ would be extremely careful with what could happen around you to possibly make you sad, anxious or have any other negative feeling;
- That can be when you're studying;
- JJ would make sure that you don't stress a lot;
- He would make you snacks, make you tea/coffee, get you sweets or salty snacks from the grocery store;
- Literally, just anything that he can spoil you with;
- And that would usually work;
- I mean, it depends on the test and how important it is;
- But yeah, you would always make sure that he would know that it does work;
- Even if it didn't;
- When it comes to physical protection, it's a whole different thing;
- It could be when Rafe and Topper would come around and try to cause trouble;
- Or when his dad would come over and be too close to you;
- JJ would just stand in between you two and not let anybody touch you;
- But that is not only when it comes to protecting you;
- It can be when there's a way for him to protect you and his ego;
- Because that's a whole different story;
- By protecting his ego I mean, not letting anybody come close to you and try to make a move on you;
- Therefore, not let anyone take who's his;
- We can't disagree on the fact that the idea of somebody taking you away from him just hunts his mind at night and whenever he would be alone;
- He loves you too much to imagine you with someone else;
- So with that, we can use examples:
- If you were driving around one day and you stopped to buy some stuff at a grocery store or a gas station, you would usually be the one to buy the snacks;
- One day, you would walk into a gas station with all your innocence and hunger and the cashier would just get his eyes on you right away;
- "Good evening"
- You would give the cashier a small smile while looking at the different types of chips;
- The thing is, the guy's eyes would just be fixated on you the whole time;
- All the turns you would take on the small isles to look for another type of snacks or just something interesting and new to eat, his eyes would be on you;
- And you could feel it;
- In the beginning, you thought it was just because you're a teenager, just like him, and he was just making sure you weren't stealing anything;
- Which probably would happen a lot;
- Once you walked over to the cashier with all your stuff, you could tell his eyes would visibly soften at the sight of you;
- "Will that be all?"
- You would just nod and let him take his time with the small selection of cheap snacks;
- And my God, he is taking a long time;
- "So... are you from around here?" He would ask you;
- You would just give him small answers to his many questions;
- "Do you have a boyfriend or something?"
- That, you would answer quickly in hopes that it would end this conversation...;
- But it sure didn't;
- He kept going on about how he would like you to be single since you're too beautiful to be in a relationship;
- You tried to ignore it in the beginning but let's just say that he was taking even longer with the snacks, now;
- That's when JJ, who was sitting in the car, started thinking that the amount of time you're taking to just get snacks is starting to be more than expected;
- So he would jump out of the car and go in the gas station to check on you;
- With that, you quietly thanked whatever gods you believed in;
- "Is everything okay?" He would ask you;
- You would just politely nod, and a light bulb would light up in his head as he understood everything;
- JJ would just stand next to you now, arm over your shoulders or around your waist;
- Totally eyeing the guy as if he was making sure he would get the idea;
- If that wouldn't work, giving you the nicknames of "babe" or "baby girl" would make him get an idea of what was going on;
- And with that, the guy would stop his questions and start moving quicker;
- But that is only with a stranger;
- Oh boy, when it would be your ex...;
- Let's just say that things would be able to fly;
- Like, one day you would be at a party;
- Trying to refill your cup or just trying to get yourself your first drink;
- And your oh so friendly ex would make an appearance;
- Let's just say that you would start by smiling and talking to him normally, just to try and be polite;
- But he wouldn't get that;
- Your drunk ex is a delusional ex;
- That man would just think that you're still interested or anything of the sort;
- He would for sure try and make his move on you;
- Maybe try a little flirting, and eventually be touchy;
- You would tell him to stop or move away from him many times, but the guy just wouldn't get the message;
- Everything would be nonphysical and with no use of brutality until JJ would notice;
- Oh man, and now you're in for it;
- JJ would just walk over to you and your ex wouldn't think anything of it;
- He would just keep on flirting and try his best to try and get you to flirt back;
- JJ wouldn't be violent until your ex would give him a good enough reason to;
- And that would be when JJ would try to pull you away from him and he would try to physically try to stop you to;
- Or when he wouldn't just give a shit about JJ being your boyfriend, even after JJ reminding him;
- With that, the other reminder would be his fist;
- And I'm not exaggerating;
- Ooh ooh, his fist would do the most talking after that;
- You wouldn't try to stop him in the beginning out of shock, but once you would come back to reality, you just would try your best to pull the blonde boy away from your ex;
- Your ex wouldn't just take it either, oh no, the guy would punch your boyfriend too;
- So that means that you need to take care of JJ after that;
- Clean his wounds and get ice from his eye or lip, depending on the day;
- But at the end of the day, JJ would get his point straight with whoever tried to get too close and take you away from him;
- He had learned with you to be less physical in these situations, but whenever he had to, fists would obviously fly;
- And you had learned to live with that.
