"Dad! I don't want to go to bed without knowing, so please tell me. I mean, I barely got to know her myself" she said with a reclusive voice.
Jack jumped up in her bed asking for the attention that he had been missing all day when I was at work. Sam reached out to pet him behind his ears, and he barked happily. I sighed.
"Sure darling. So what do you want to know about her?"
"All i remember is her face, her red hair and that she always sang for me when I couldn't sleep" Sam said
Her voice got cold for a moment. Then she looked at me while pulling up her cover some more.
"How did you meet?"
"Sam! You already know this!"
"Yeah but please dad, it was ages ago, you never want to talk about it"
I smiled and remembered the palm trees and the heat like if it was only yesterday I saw her for the first time.
"Okay then. Me and the lads were going to Malaysia for the first time, just to check it out. Then we got tired of the big cities and the smell of fumes..."
"Josh please get strait to it!"
"Sure but promise to NOT interrupt me now"...
