There are two worlds, where non-magical people live and where magical people live, there is a bridge where connects to the two worlds, crossing the bridge would lead to major consequences and it is hard to cross it without having consequences, but suddenly a glitch appeared where two people met.
Third Person PoV
Y/n a is a witch and was heading home
" If there's a quiz tomorrow then usually the next class won't have assignments! Yes!" on her way home, her wand fell and went rolling down the hill she was crossing
while holding her books tightly in her arms, she ran down the hill to retrieve her wand
her wand went rolling down the hill until it went under a bush, as she arrived in front of the bush
she placed her books down and kneeled and placed her hand inside it, " Got i- Woah..."
as the wand was in her hands, she stood up and looked at the streaming clear river in front of her
it was the river that separated the two worlds, but something was off, " Was there always a tree here?" in the middle of the river
a huge tree was there, but what confused her more, as she tried looking closer
" Is that a ladder?" she looked around making sure there was no one insight
she hesitated but placed one foot in the river and another and lifted her dress a little to walk to the tree
with her wand on her right hand she used her left hand to hold onto the ladder, she climbed up and up until she reached the top
" Ahhh!" she points her wand at the boy in front of her, " A Human! ahhhh!"
" Woah it's a teenage witch" He stood up and walked around her
" How are you here? You're supposed to be back in your world, t-"
" Well we aren't in any of the worlds, we're in the border " Y/n looked around and saw a little window on both sides, " D-did you make this?" Y/n asks hesitantly as she looked around
" No, the treehouse I made was in my backyard, but I guess the glitches between the two worlds are happening again, so the treehouse glitched here" Y/n raised an eyebrow
" A tree what?"
" Is what you guys learn different from ours?" the boy chuckles
" Who are you?"
" I'm Joshua, " he hands his hand out, " Y-Y/n" She shakes it
" Isn't this cool? I never met a person from the other world before" Josua smiles
" I never met a h-human before"
That's when the two developed a strong bond, the two met there every day
talking about what happens in their world, they did their best not to get caught, but Joshua developed a feeling called love
love in the magical world was described as evil, as it can hurt you terribly, but the definition of love was very different in the human world
" do you know what love is?" Joshua asked as the two were eating this so-called spaghetti
" Hmm? Oh, you learn that too? Yeah, it's a thing that can hurt you" Joshua chuckles
" I guess the meaning is very different from your world and mine?" Y/n looked at him as she chewed on the noodles with tomato sauce
" Why how is it explained for you?" " Well it can hurt but it can also make you very happy, I actually have love" Y/n gasps
" How is it?! Does it hurt? Oh No!" Joshua laughs
" No I actually like it, the person I love is with me"
" Love...Person? What?" Y/n was so confused
" Hmm...Do you know what affection means?" Y/n claps her hands as she knew what it meant
" Yeah liking or having an interest in a thing, like maybe your wand...Well, you don't have a wand but you know?" Joshua nods
" well I have affection towards you," Y/n thinks for a while
" So...Do you have an interest in me? Do you like me? Do you enjoy being with me? If you do then I can confirm you have affection towards me" Joshua nods his head
" yes, I have felt all of those towards you" Y/n didn't know why but there was a tingle in her heart, she felt there was the blood rushing on her face
" My chest feels weird" Joshua chuckles, " Your heart is fluttering," Joshua tells her
" You mean like butterflies in your stomach?" Joshua nods
" J-Joshua I-I'm gonna go home..." as she stood up Joshua stood up as well, he held her wrist and smiled
" I hope you return those feelings soon okay?"
" u-uh sure whatever you say bye!" Y/n climbed down the ladder and Joshua looked at her from the small window as she ran home
Joshua sighed as he sat back down, why did he want Y/n to give back those feelings he has towards her
Y/n thought as she ran, but the thing is they were caught, the two were sentenced to death
but Joshua begged he was the one to die and not Y/n
he wanted her to return those feelings quick before he was gone...
But will Y/n find out? Will Y/n do the consequence with him? Or will there be another glitch?
