~ Ali's POV ~
I must have only been asleep for about 2 hours until I heard screaming and crying.
I sat up immediately and hugged my stuffies.
I sucked my thumb and jolted at every scream.
I then realised who was making all the noise.
I flung my blanket off me, throwing it over my crib. I grabbed my lamb and climbed over the crib walls and got out.
I fell over quietly and grabbed my blanket, putting it over me. I held my lamb with one hand and sucked my thumb with the other.
I took a few deep breathes before peeping round my bedroom door.
I started walking, as I got closer to Alex and Lloyds room the screaming got louder.
I peered into their room seeing Alex desperately trying to calm Braydon down and Lloyd, trying to restrict him.
He was kicking, screaming and biting.
I held my lamb really close to me and cowered under my blanket.
"Please calm down!!" I heard Alex say. He looked really stressed.
"I COWLD!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. This was really scaring me for some reason.
I wanted to run in there and just jump into Daddy and Dada's arms but I thought they needed some time.
I had to physically stop myself doing that.
"I then saw Daddy head for the door.
I panicked, picking all my stuff up and going round the corner.
He went right past me and didn't see me.
He was carrying a screaming Braydon and I heard his breathing was quite heavy.
When he came back a few minutes later Braydon was still screaming at the top of his lungs.
"How are we gonna get him to calm down?!" Lloyd asked over the screaming.
"I..I don't know." Alex said.
"I NO WANNA SLEEP!" He screamed.
I knew he was doing this deliberately. I didn't feel sorry for him in the slightest.
I wanted my Daddies.
That's all I wanted.
I decided the only place I could be the closest to them, was outside their door.
I my arm as a pillow and put the blanket round me and cuddled lamb close to me.
But it was impossible to sleep from all his crying and screaming.
~ About 2 hours later ~
"Please calm down Braydon." Alex pleaded. I could tell he was close to crying.
Yes I was still awake, lying on the floor. He was still screaming. It had got worse though.
I felt so upset and tired.
I didn't get to sleep that until about 6am...
~ 8am ~
I woke up from a sudden scream, which made me jump.
I peered into my Daddies room and saw Braydon sit up and start screaming again.
I rubbed my eyes, absolutely exhausted.
I cried again from how tired I was.
I wanted Daddy to come and carry me.
I wanted to fall asleep in his arms.
"What time is it?" I heard Alex groan.
"8am." Lloyd mumbled.
I didn't hear anything after that.
Well until Braydon screamed again a few seconds later.
I jumped again, covering my ears with my hands.
I heard Daddy get up and do a massive groan.
"I need coffee." I heard him mumble.
My eyes had closed again, from how tired I was.
~ Alex's POV ~
I groaned, getting up seeing Braydon calm down a bit. That's a first.
"I need coffee." I groaned.
I opened the door and saw Ali laying there with her head rested on her arm, a blanket over her and her lamb cuddled into her chest.
She must have slept there.. all night. Well probably not even slept. I felt so bad!
I scooped her up in my arms and held her tightly.
Her eyes fluttered open and she sucked her thumb.
"Baby, did you sleep there all night?" I asked.
She nodded, as she stretched.
I wasn't cross, I just felt bad. She probably got no sleep and her face was tear stained.
"Go back to sleep Baby, Daddy's got you." I softly said rocking her.
She went straight back to sleep, and I put a blanket over her.
She was tons easier to get to sleep than Braydon that's for sure.
I walked downstairs with her and went into the kitchen.
I had to be awake the rest of the day so I knew I would get through all my coffee.
I boiled the kettle and started to prepare it when Lloyd came downstairs holding a sleeping Braydon.
"Hey." He sleepily groaned.
"Hey." I groaned. "You wan some?"
He nodded, sitting down on the chair, holding Braydon across his body.
"Did she get much sleep?" Lloyd asked.
"She slept outside our room. I feel so bad." I said.
Lloyd gasped.
"What all night?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Poor thing." He said, sympathetically.
I looked at her fast asleep in my arms. I would stay awake the rest of my life to let her sleep in my arms if I could.
Once I made the coffee I gave some to Lloyd and started drinking mine.
"Damn that's good." Lloyd said.
"Yeah." I smiled. I felt more energised after that.
"I have some more if u want it?" I asked.
"Yes please, drown me in it please." He begged. I chuckled quietly.
"So how much sleep did we actually get last night? Lloyd wondered.
"Um.. about 2 hours." I said.
"Great, I have so much paperwork today and I'm going to fall asleep half way though it." Lloyd groaned.
"Just drink as much coffee as you can." I said as I passed him another one.
We both drank it and went to the sofa.
I placed Ali on the sofa under a blanket and Lloyd do the same with Braydon.
"They'll be okay for a few hours right?" Lloyd asked.
"Yeah, they'll be good." I smiled.
"So...what do we do then?" Lloyd asked. "We've never been alone like this before."
"Haha, true." I chuckled quietly. "Let's just do paperwork."
Lloyd sighed.
"I guess, come on." Lloyd said.
"But...You know an opportunity like this is awesome. You wanna go to our room?" I smiled, coming closer to him.
"Not in front of our little Alex." He laughed, coming closer to my lips.
We kissed each other, laughing underneath.
He then took my hand and took me upstairs.
He pushed me on the bed and jumped on top of me.
"Your dead Alex." He laughed.
"Am I?" I chuckled.
"Hell yah." He smiled as he kissed me again.
We then both fell off the bed and we burst out laughing.
"Shut up, they'll wake up you idiot." Lloyd jokily said.
"And you would be dealing with him." I smiled.
"Hell nah, that's your job." He laughed.
"You twat." I joked as he kissed me again.
