Ming's pov:
P'pha came back at around 9 o'clock in the evening.
"Sorry for taking so long." He sighed.
"It's ok." I smiled.
"Since you're here now. We'll take our leave." P"Kit and p'Yo got up.
"Thanks for coming guys." He smiled at them.
"No problem. And we enjoyed playing with them anyway." P'Kit ruffled my hair.
I smiled widely.
"I'm really hungry but first let's get cleaned up." P'pha lifted me up after they left.
Luna and Lea stayed downstairs obediently.
We went to the bedroom and took off our clothes before going into the bathroom.
"Wait. How did you get this?" He frowned when he saw the bandage on my hand.
"It's nothing p'." I assured him.
He kept quiet and didn't push.
We changed into some comfortable clothes after we finished showering.
He put another bandage on the cut after putting some medicine on it.
He then kept me on the bed and looked at me firmly.
I scratched my head.
Of course he wouldn't let it go that easily....
"Ummm...."
"Did something happen during the time you were alone?" He asked.
"Pring came...." I mumbled.
He blinked.
"Did she hurt you?" He asked angrily.
I shook my head.
"This is from when we cleaned up the broken vase pieces."
"It didn't hit me. It hit the wall." I added quickly before he could say anything.
"Why did you even let her in?" He asked exasperated.
"I didn't...." I looked up at him.
He frowned deeply.
"She brought someone and somehow opened it from the outside." I said.
"I need to up the security and change the lock..." He muttered.
I nodded.
"Lea and Luna didn't let her come near me. So i didn't get hurt." I smiled.
A smile formed on his face as well.
"It's a good thing we brought them huh?"
I nodded. "Luna actually scratched her face when she tried to come close to me. She ran out crying."
He raised his eyebrows.
"Luna knows where to do the damage huh..." He grinned.
I chuckled.
"P' didn't you say you were hungry? And it's also time to feed them." I spoke up after a few seconds.
He nodded.
We headed downstairs.
Lea ran upto p'pha the moment we were downstairs. Luna came upto me.
P'pha chuckled and patted her gently.
I lifted Luna up.
I put food in both their bowls and went into the kitchen when they started eating.
"You made some extra?" P'pha looked at me when he saw the covered plates.
"Hm. I thought you might not have eaten so we made some for you when we cooked dinner." I nodded.
He smiled warmly and ruffled my hair.
The next day, the doorbell run just as we finished eating breakfast.
"Who could that be?" P'pha frowned.
He got up and went to open the door.
Lea started barking and Luna started hissing the moment they saw who it was.
"Daddy look! That cat was the one who ruined my face! And that dog had attacked me as well!" Pring yelled.
She had claw marks across her face.
She clung onto the arm of the man who was standing next to her.
He looked like he was in his early 50s. And from the looks of it, he's her father.
"How can i help you?" P'pha asked them.
I took Luna and lifted her up.
"Sit." I patted Lea's head.
She was still growling at Pring but she sat down obediently.
"Your pets harmed my daughter." Pring's dad spoke up.
"And did she tell you why they harmed her?" P'pha asked.
"She just came to have a talk with you. And you made these animals attack her? I didn't know you were so low Phana Kongthanin." Her father growled.
I gritted my teeth.
"Low? She broke into my house while i wasn't home and I'm the one who's low?" P'pha hissed.
Her father was taken aback and looked at her.
"N-no! I didn't break in! He opened the door!" She pointed at me.
"I never opened the door. You called someone to open it for you from outside and barged in even after i told you to leave." I said.
Her father gritted his teeth. He was turning red from embarrassment.
"You have anything more you want to say?" P'pha looked at him.
"H-he's lying! I didn't barge in!" Pring yelled.
"Yeah. Go tell that to someone who'll actually fall for that." P'pha turned to her.
"We're leaving." Her father dragged her away before she could say anything more.
P'pha closed the door.
"It's not going to end that easily is it?" I asked.
"No it's not. He spoils her rotten. She'll probably get a few scoldings and try to do something like that again." He sighed.
I frowned.
She really doesn't know when to give up....
"You don't need to worry about it. I'll take care of her." He ruffled my hair.
I hummed.
"For now we need to change the lock and add some cameras and other security measures around the house." He muttered looking around.
I nodded.
Just then my phone rang.
I went to the dining table and took it.
Its was p'Forth.
"Hello p'." I accepted it.
"Hey Ming. Are you and Pha free today?" He asked.
I looked at p'pha.
"Sure p'. What is it?" I asked.
"We're all planning to go to the beach today. You guys want to join?" He answered.
I immediately lit up.
"The beach?"
"Yup." He chuckled.
I looked at p'pha expectantly.
He smiled. "Sure."
"Ok p'." I said to p'Forth.
"Great. We'll meet you guys infront of your place at around 10." He said and hung up.
I looked at the time.
9:02 am.
"He said they'll meet us infront of here at around 10." I turned to p'pha.
"Then we need to get ready and drop of these two at the daycare." He said looking at the time.
I nodded.
We went upstairs and into the bedroom.
We got ready and dropped off Luna and Lea at the daycare.
They were already there infront of the house when we got back from he daycare.
My phone rang just as we pulled up behind them.
I chuckled and took it.
"Hello p'."
"Hey. Are you guys ready?" P'Forth asked.
"Yup. We're right behind you actually. We just got back from dropping off Luna and Lea at the daycare." I said.
"Oh. Then We should go. Just follow us ok?"
"Khrab."
He hung up.
We drove for around 30 minutes before stopping not too far from a beautiful beach.
It wasn't very crowded. There were just a few people there.
"People will start coming after lunch usually." P'Pha said as we got out of the car.
I nodded.
"Wow you guys really prepared huh?" He raised his eyebrows when he saw he amount of snacks and drinks they brought.
"Yup. We woke up early to go shopping." P'Yo said proudly.
"And yet you only told us an hour ahead." He looked at them unamused.
They chuckled sheepishly.
"Don't sulk about that! Now come on. Let's enjoy the beach for today." P'Beam spoke up.
We grabbed everything and went to the beachside.
P'Pha, p'Forth and P'Beam sat up the the umbrellas while p'Yo, p'Kit and i took care of the snacks and drinks.
"What's with the sudden plans by the way?" P'Pha asked.
"Beam just called me at 6 in the morning saying he wants to go to the beach. Yo overheard and also wanted to come. So here we are." P'Kit groaned.
P'Pha and me raised our eyebrows and looked at p'Beam.
"You and your unexpected ideas..." P'Pha sighed.
"What, it's exciting isn't it?" P"Beam grinned.
"Yeah it would be even more exciting if we got a prior warning." P'Kit looked at him unamused.
P'Beam jutted out his tongue at him.
P'Kit threw a bottle of water at him in turn.
He managed to move away in time. He hid behind p'Forth.
"Ahah! Missed me!" He grinned.
P'Kit was about to say something but p'Pha spoke up before he could.
"Ok ok enough fighting. Since we're here anyway let's just enjoy ourselves." He chuckled.
P'Forth, p'Yo and i nodded in agreement.
"That's what i've been saying. But kitty here is just being grumpy." P'Beam sulked.
P'Kit shot up and ran to him.
P'Beam shrieked and ran away with p'Kit running after him.
We chuckled at their antics.
"Just leave them. They'll cool down on their own." P'Pha shook his head.
We spent the whole day playing around at the beach.
P'Pha wouldn't let me swim for too long or play too much but it was fun.
The others made sure not to suggest things which would tire us out too much as well.
P'Beam had actually made some food for lunch and brought them even.
When he took them out, p'Kit again started sulking about how he gave no prior warning and that ended up in them throwing sand at each other and in the end getting thrown into the water by p'Pha because they were getting sand into the food.
P'Forth, p'Yo and i were laughing at their antics the whole time.
The other people at the beach were also staring and laughing at them.
By the time we decided to head back, it was already 6:30 in the evening.
We stayed to watch the sunset before going back.
"Dinner's on you by the way." P'Beam grinned at p'Pha.
He looked at him unamused.
"Seriously Beam?"
"Yup." He laughed and got into the car before he could say anything.
"We'll bring some food over." Kit sighed and shook his head.
"No it's fine. You can just help me make some. Just come over after getting cleaned up." P'Pha looked at him.
He nodded.
We headed back home after picking up Luna and Lea on the way.
We took a warm shower and started on cooking dinner.
"P'Beam really doesn't think ahead huh?" I chuckled.
"No he doesn't. He's been like that since we were kids. I've lost count of how many times we've gotten in trouble because of his reckless on the spot ideas." He sighed.
I laughed.
Even though he was sulking i could tell he was still happy.
It was an unexpected trip to the beach but in the end we all had fun and enjoyed ourselves.
The smiles didn't leave our faces even for a second. Well save for the times p'Pha and p'Kit were sulking.
But in the end it all turned out great. And we were all happy.
