summary:
THEA VALARYEN WAS A LEGACY. And the problem with being the walking reminder of glory and ancient nobility was that nobody else could know that about her.
Well, not until her grand emergence to restore her family name and rain hellfire down on her godly enemies. But that kind of ambition came at a cost which struck at night bearing hidden knives around every corner.
Trained to destroy the demigod who devastated her family while moving cross-country to evade hired assassins, fear and anger were Thea's companions for fifteen years. While other children played Nintendo and rode bikes on summer days, she was taught thirteen different ways to kill a man and how to evade Homeland Security's suspicions of terrorism.
It was a damning ethos, for sure.
Acting on the gravity of new choices with Queens' own Spider-Man, Theadora proposes the resurgence of a lifetime. One that could bring her closer to her destiny. While things get confusing and very complicated along the way (particularly about her growing feelings towards the web-slinging vigilante), Theadora Valaryen is most certain about one thing:
Revenge is a dish best served cold. But she is going to serve it with BLOOD AND FYRE.

The story of the noble house, summed up in three words.
The last of the pureblooded maegys, descendants of the lords of the ancient civilization of Old Sovranys, the Valaryens forged a mythical power that allowed them to raise a dynasty to reign for the ages.
Noble, brave, ambitious, beautiful... and far too comfortable with their annoying-as-shit superiority complexes. But dragon's blood and magic surged through their veins. It filled them with power that was just as incendiary as their ambition to make a mark in history.
And a mark in history was exactly what Aeres Valaryen did, decimating a line between madness and greatness and leaving his daughter Theadora in the ashes of an empire. The fall sprouted the waning legacy of the maegys everywhere, placing them under danger of extinction and siphoning them of the dignity that followed them from Old Sovranys herself.
Though the maegys had lost their foreign sorcery a few hundred years ago... they never forgot who they were on the inside. Theadora definitely wouldn't.

hello there! the main premise of this story is set during the events of spider-man: homecoming! this story has a different vibe especially with the direction the mcu is going in with sorcery and chaos and all the fun stuff that transcends spies and bullets. i'm super excited to see how this story will unravel!
and fyi, "rhaenerys" is pronounced RAY-NEE-RIS. it won't be used in the run of the story as much since her name is legally "theadora" but i like to consider it her cultural sovrani name.
