Lee Daehyun's POV
Jaemin drove us to my home where my brother asked us to come.
We entered the house as I left my bag at the livingroom. I heard my Mother at the kitchen calling me.
"Daehyun, Is that you?" She called out.
"Yeah" I called back as she came out of the kitchen meeting me and Jaemin. Jaemin bow to my Mother politely.
"Dinner will be ready in a few minutes. Tell your brother and his friends to come in a few, okay?" She said as I nod. "It was nice seeing you again, Jaemin" She added with a teasing smile between me and him. "You too, Ms. Lee" Jaemin smiled.
As my Mother walked out again, Jaemin opened the basement door letting me in first.
We heard a few muffles of voices downstairs. I couldn't properly hear what they were saying but it sounds serious.
As they saw us coming down, they all look at us.
I looked at my brother, "What?" I asked a little bit annoyed that he had to called us out.
He pats a seat beside him gesturing me to sit down. Jaemin stayed standing his back leaning on the wall waiting for the announcement.
"Are you okay? Is you foot good? " My brother asked me making me looked at him weird but answered it with a nod.
"What's this for?" I asked.
I looked at all of them curious.
"Well" I heard Chenle called out as we all looked at him. "I am inviting you all in China for the great grand ball of my parents" He announced.
Sicheng told me about a party not a grand ball.
"Oh I've heard about that" I muttered but they heard so they looked at me confused. "A friend told me" I cleared my throat couldn't actually tell who friend he is.
"Hm? Sicheng hyung is the only one I've told about it" Chenle muttered to himself as I felt Jaemin looked at me but I didn't look at him.
My brother is still confused why I cried that time when Sicheng came back.
"So when's this?" I asked changing the topic.
"Next next week" Chenle said. "But what about school?" I heard my brother asked. "Since when did you care about school?" I got shook when Jisung and I asked the same thing at the same time. We looked at each other and are hands claps as we laughed.
Jisung is a bit different from before he confessed. I think he's back to being cute.
My brother groaned as he didn't fought back.
"We have no school for a week, since semester is almost over." Jeno Oppa said as we all nod. "Daehyun" I heard my name being called out as I looked at who it is I heard Jeno Oppa called.
I looked at him curious on why he called me. "Have you seen Xuxi?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, I haven't seen him since lunch" My brother added.
"Yeah, I've seen him on rooftop with Ten Sunbaenim and Kunhang sunbaenim" I said leaving out the thing about me being there with Sicheng.
They nod, "What were you doing there?" My brother asked suspicious.
"Uh?" I think for a moment. "Just walking around" I said.
"With Jaemin?" I looked at my brother taken a back, "He's at practice, Idiot." I said pushing him a little causing the others to chuckle.
"Yah! Donghyuk ah!" I heard Renjun Oppa called him. "Let her be" He scolded my brother. He looked at me, "Have a boyfriend if you want" He said to me making me looked at him taken a back as I blush.
At the side of my eyes, I see a person who is leaning on the wall with a smirk.
He's enjoying this.
My brother looked at Renjun Oppa outraged, "What?!" Renjun Oppa laughed. "No, she can't" My brother exclaimed.
"Why not?" I suddenly asked making all of them smirk in amusement except Jisung and my brother.
My brother looked at me outrage, as I look away embarrassed.
"I just remember, dinner must be ready. We should all go" I quickly stood up walking to the stairs.
I glance at Jaemin and he was watching me with amusement as I roll my eyes annoyed.
I groan a little when I took my first step on the stairs since my ankle hurts.
"Be careful,Daehyun. You might fall" I heard Renjun Oppa joked as I was half way the stairs. For that, I heard my brother pushed as Renjun Oppa laughed at him.
Damn you, Huang Renjun.
I was the first one to go to the dining area. The plates were ready and my Mother cooked Roasted chicken for us.
"Eomma, What's the event?" I asked. "Oh daehyun. It's nothing. It's been a long time since we had dinner together" She said as I nod.
I sat down on my chair as I heard the boys walking up as they come one by one sitting on the table.
Jaemin was the first one to come and sat beside me. Renjun Oppa sat infront of me and Jeno Oppa beside him. My other side, my brother sat down with Jisung beside him. My Mother on the middle as Chenle at the other middle.
Why does Renjun Oppa and Jeno Oppa had to sit in front of me?
There was already rice on our plate. I took the knife since no one is doing it. I tried to cut the specific part of the chicken off but I couldn't do it.
I felt a hand on my hand, my heart thump as I see Jaemin taking the knife from my hand. I quickly took away my hand away as I lower my hair hiding my face from my Mother and Brother. I see Renjun Oppa and Jeno Oppa watching with a smirk as I look away at them.
I watch as Jaemin finished cutting the roasted chicken. He took the leg part on my plate, the one I was trying to cut.
Na Jaemin, you didn't have to do that.
I felt a few eyes on us but I ignored it, "Thanks" I mumbled as we all started eating peacefully.
We were all eating quietly, I look up to see Jeno Oppa whispering something to Renjun Oppa as they both laugh. Renjun Oppa glanced at me as he cleared his throat making my eyebrows furrow.
"Eommoni" He called out my Mother, as he looked at her.
"Yes, Renjun?" My mother asked.
"Do you have a dating ban on your daughter?" He asked my Mother making me and surely my brother looked at him confused as I looked at him with mixed embarrassed while my brother is outrage.
"No, I don't think I have that" My Mother said a little bit riding on what Renjun Oppa is doing. "See Donghyuck! You're the only one who is strict" He exclaimed.
"Eomma!" My brother called out to her.
"Let her be Donghyuck. She had a rough years" My mother sighs.
I looked at them embarrassed. "Why are you guys talking about me having a boyfriend like I'm not here?" I groan looking down biting on my chicken.
I heard some of them laughed, "So you do have" My brother looked at me shock.
I looked at him with a taken a back look. "No, I don't. Stop being so nosy" I groan at him as I glare.
My brother gritted his teeth looking at me.
"You guys are arguing again" Renjun Oppa laughed.
"You!" I pointed at Renjun Oppa as he looked at me with an amuse smile. "You started this!" I exclaimed as he laughed.
As we all finished eating, the boys left going back to the basement and Jaemin and I was left in the kitchen since Mother told me to clean up and I think that it's the least I can do in this household.
Jaemin stayed here with me as I cleaned up the plates.
"Why are you still here?" I asked looking at him confused.
He ignored my question, "That was an interesting dinner" He commented as I blush a little and groan walking to the faucet to start washing the dishes.
Jaemin followed by leaning on the table beside the faucet as his body was towards me. I started the water, "Don't you think my brother would be confused to notice you are still here?" I asked at I start to washing the dishes.
"I don't think he will besides Renjun had been teasing him all day" He said as I glance at him confused. "About what?"
"Park Hyeji" He said as I looked at him stunned. "As in the girl in our class? Park Hyeji my kind of friend?" I asked as Jaemin nods.
"What's with them?" I asked as I got back to washing the dishes.
"You didn't know?" He asked as I shake my head. "She's your brother's ex girlfriend" He informed me as I looked at him shock as I smiled. "I didn't know my brother can have a girlfriend with that kind of attitude" I laughed as Jaemin nods agreeing to me.
I finished washing the dishes, I took a clean towel and dry my hands.
I looked at Jaemin and he was watching me.
"Jaemin" I called him as he hummed in response. "Did you tell Renjun Oppa and Jeno Oppa?" I asked looking away a bit embarrassed.
"Tell them what?" He asked, I looked at him groaning as I see him smirking. "Jaemin" I warned him.
Dejavu
He laughed, "I haven't told them anything" He chuckled.
"Then how?" I muttered to myself.
"Are you embarrassed about me liking you?" He asked as I quickly looked at him shock. "No, No." I quickly answered him making him smile.
"Jeno's my bestfriend of course he'll notice and for Renjun he'll do anything to annoy Donghyuck" He say informing as I nod.
There was silence between us. "So, you're not embarrassed to be with me?" He asked as he step closer to me trapping me as my back on the wall.
"Jaemin, you know my brother could come out anytime" I smirked.
He smiled, "Answer my question" He said lowly as I felt him so near me.
I smirked at him having a little confidence in me. "If you want to be my boyfriend I think you should try harder" I said making Jaemin chuckle lowly.
"I'm just getting started, princess" He said his voice so low.
