Jayden POV
Me, Bonnie and Elena are walking towards the school,
"I'm not saying don't date the guy I'm just saying take it slow," Bonnie said
"You were the one who said to go for it," Elena said pointing at Bonnie amusingly
"Now I'm saying take it slow," Bonnie said
"Why the about face?" I asked
"It's not an about face, she's single for the first time in your entire high school career it's the perfect time to play the field," Bonnie said
"Oh because I'm so that girl, seriously what are you not saying?" Elena asked
"It's stupid," Bonnie said trying to walk away,
"Bonnie," Elena said grabbing her arm,
"What?" Bonnie said
"Spit it out," Elena said
"I accidentally touched Stefan, and I got a really bad feeling," Bonnie said
"Is that it? Bonnie." Elena said
"It was Bad, Bad!" Bonnie said
"Is this the whole witch mojo thing again?" Elena said
"You know what? I'm just concerned this is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend," Bonnie said
"And I love you for it, do but I feel good it's been a hard year and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again and you know what? Stefan is a big part of that," Elena said
Stefan approaches us,
"Good morning, Elena, Good morning Jayden, Good morning Bonnie" Stefan said
"Hey, um I gotta find Caroline, she's not answering her phone so I'll see you guys later," Bonnie leaves,
"Bonnie, wait," Elena said
"She doesn't like me very much," Stefan said
"Nah, she's just being weird," I said
Elena glared at me,
"Your just grumpy because you got grounded," Elena said
"Yeah, well I still don't understand that, since Damon walked me home," I said
"What?" Stefan said surprised
"Yeah, Elena ditched me to see you, and on my way home, Damon walked me the rest of the way," I said smiling
"Hmm," Stefan said
"Anyway, she doesn't know you, she's my best friend she's just looking out for me, but when she does, she will love you," Elena said
The bell for my end of the building ran,
"Oh crap! I'm gonna be late again!" I said running
"Jay don't run!" Elena said but I continued to run
Later I was sitting on the bleachers by myself, watching somewhat but all together I was reading my book,
"Hey BlueJay why all alone?" I heard
I look up to see Damon, I smiled at him,
"I'm not alone just waiting for my sister to get done with practice, sadly she's my rid," I said smiling
"Alright," I said Grabbing my book bag and closing my book,
"What you reading?" Damon asked
"It's called Hunger Games, I just started reading it, but it's about, all these different districts go into a tournament and you have to kill each person and the last one standing wins," I said
"Isn't that a little I don't know too graphic for you," Damon asked starting the car,
"Okay, mom," I said
Damon chuckled
Third Person POV
Stefan enter his bedroom and Damon is there reading Stefan's diary,
"How were tryouts? did you make the team? very Emerson, the way you reveal your soul with so many... adjectives." Damon said
Stefan rips the Diary out of his hands
"What are you doing here?" Stefan said
"I've come to apologize, I've been doing some thinking, some soul searching and I want us to start over we need to put the past behind us, you're my little brother and If you want to live a normal happy human life, then I want that for you,Maybe I can do it too, that I can learn to be a non, living living person maybe there's hope for both of us," Damon said
He tries to keep a straight face, but can't
"You know it doesn't have to be this way Damon," Stefan said
"Of course it doesn't, I saw Elena today, cheerleading practice she looked so perky in her little short shorts, just... simmer down I didn't even go near her I've got my own cheerleader now, oh that reminds me I gotta run I have a date sweaty palms wish me luck," Damon said
"I saw you with Jayden," Stefan said
Damon turned around,
"Ah, yes, The so Innocent adorable Gilbert, weird can't even tell they are related with her cute little blue eyes, so trustworthy that one is," Damon said
"Leave her alone, I know you took her home last night and today," Stefan said
"And not to get to play big brother to the BlueJay," Damon said smirking leaving
Jayden POV
I am sitting on my bed, reading my book, I just can't seem to put it down, I hear a knock on the door, I look up to see Care,
"Hey, When did you get here," I said closing my book and smiling
"Just a few minutes ago, come on," She said dragging me out of bed
"Umm is there a reason your dragging me out of my room, I'm kinda grounded," I said
"Yes to socialize," Care said
"Joy," I said
"Look who I found," Care said as we walked down the stair,
"Well Technically I wasn't hiding or I would've found a better spot than my bed," I said
Causing everyone to laugh
I was sitting on the counter as I popped a piece of fruit in my mouth, as Elena washed the dishes,
"One more," Damon said walking in,
"oh thank you," Elena said
Damon hands her the glass but it drops and he quickly catches it,
"Nice save," I said
"Hey butt of the counter," Elena said
I jump down,
"I like you, you know how to laugh and you make Stefan smile which is something I haven't seen in a very long time," Damon said
I walked out of the room not wanting to even know I thought
Later that night I didn't go to the game because I was grounded, I wasn't allowed
I gasped awake due to my constant nightmares, the nightmares of the last time I seen my mom and Dad, the nightmare of feeling like my lungs are collapsing under the pressure of not being able to breath under water, sometime at night I feel like I can't even move after the dream it is so paralyzing,
The sweat covered my body from the nightmare, so I walked out of my room,
Third Person POV
Stefan is writing in his diary,
"I thought there was hope that somewhere deep inside something in Damon was still human, normal but I was wrong there's nothing human left in Damon no good, no kindness, no love only a monster who must be stopped," Stefan wrote
Damon is in Elena's room, Elena is sleeping Damon gently caresses her fafe Elena wakes up puts her diary on the bedside table and trans off the lamp, Damon is out side Her room, When he sees Jayden, walking out of her room covered in sweat in a Daze, she stops and turns around But Damon is already gone,
