Is this how it feels to drown?

Sinking into the cold depths of my mind


I am alone in the water

Birds fly above


Their flight is eternal torment to me

I cannot fly; only try to swim


I want to call for help

But there is nobody around


Who would sail on a stormy sea?

They would only drown too
