Eloise's POV
Last week was my birthday and it was perfect. Tonight me and Lucy were going out. First we were going to a bar and then we were going to a club for a bit.
I was currently getting ready an Lucy was on her way back from work. We used to go to a bar for a catch up every week but then we moved into together and we started to have drinks in the apartment. But Lucy wanted to go out. I know that she has had a busy time recently and it's been hard at work too.
"Hey, sorry I'm late. Got caught up in some paperwork"
"It's okay, I'm still getting ready so you're not that late"
"Im going to take a quick shower and then I will join you" I nodded to acknowledge her
Lucy didn't take long at all in the shower and she joined me in my room to get ready. It felt like when we were in Uni all over again getting ready fora night out.
"So I haven't asked but how much did you love your birthday?"
"I loved it. Thank you so much. I also loved the presents you got me."
"It's all good. How was the night though? You didn't come back till the morning and you were rushing" she asked
"I stayed with Justin"
"You've stayed over at his quite a few times"
"Well look who's talking. You didn't even tell me you were seeing someone for a couple of months"
"Heyy, I told you when I wanted to. I didn't leave it too late"
"Uh huh"
"Well you didn't answer my question"
"Yes I had a good night" I started to blush thinking about it
"Oh my god did you guys finally do it?"
"oh god." she was like a child "No we didn't"
"And why not? He must have blue balls"
"Because I'm not ready for all of that completely and I don't think he does"
"You know he is very different to the guys in the past and he will respect you"
"I know I know. He's a great guy. He can be an ass to some people but that's not often. Lucy he makes me feel me gain. I feel happy and he is the one that makes me happy. I didn't realise how much I had closed myself off to everyone until I met him and started opening up again"
"I'm glad that you noticed that. You haven't been like that since your dad. I'm just glad you found someone to make you happy"
"Hold on" she looked at me confused "you forced me to apply for that job. You told me 'it's worth a shot to have some interview experience at the very least'. You set me up didn't you"
"Umm maybe." My eyes went wide. She is at playing cupid "But it's not exactly what you think. Ryan told me about the job and I just made sure you applied on the day. The rest is you to be honest"
"Well thank you"

"Okay so you're telling me that he is meeting you're parents next week and he's not even worried?"
"Yep, Ryan said he's fine but I have a feeling that he is shitting himself"
"He probably is to be honest. I mean I would be"
"What do you mean? you've met Justin's parents"
"Yeah but if I hadn't already then I would be nervous. I mean are you not nervous to meet Ryan's parents?"
"Well yeah I am. Any tips?"
"Just be you because they will love you and talk to Ryan about it if you're nervous"
"Seriously? you know Ryan and you suggest that I tell him about that. He would take the piss for the rest of my life"
"Yeah you're right but you do have to talk to him about how you're feeling too"
"Woah look at you giving relationship advice"
"Well what can I say"
"Right I'll get the next round"
"Are we still going to the club?"
"I was thinking shall we stay here and get pissed instead"
"Sounds like a plan"
Lucy soon came back with a tray of drinks. There was 3 shots and two cocktails.
"Three?! How bad was work today?"
"Bad, we have an almost impossible case to defend and I need to prove myself apparently. It's so stupid. To defend the indefensible. I just have to hope that new evidence comes to life"
"Sounds very complicated. Well let's get these shots down you and hope you get a drunk thought to help you like last time."
"That case was less complicated but lets hope it will help"

It was about an hour later and me and Lucy were very drunk in the bar.
The shots went down well and so did the cocktails.
As me and Lucy were laughing, my phone had buzzed.
Are you home yet babe - Justin
"It's Justin." I shouted and then smirked as I pressed on my phone to ring him.
After a few rings he answered.
"Justin, hello. No I'm not home yet."
"Elle, where are you?"
"I'm still at the bar with Lucy"
"Okay, how drunk are you?"
"Very. I can't walk in a straight line. hehehe"
"Okay babe, we're coming"
"Who's we?"
"Me and Ryan"
"You were with Ryan instead of me"
"Babe you were spending the night with Lucy"
"But you were with Ryan. Is he your girlfriend?"
"No Elle, you are my girlfriend. Is Lucy still with you?"
"Yeah she is. She's sat next to me"
"Okay good, we're nearly there"
"Pass the phone to Ry Ry"
"Okay but you will be on speaker Elle, he's driving"
"That's okay"
"Hey Taylor, you had a good night?"
"Yes but you have to answer a few questions. I'm going to be detective"
"Okay go ahead"
"Are you nervous to meet Lucy's parents?"
"No Ellie, you can't ask him that."
"Shhhh it's okay Lucy, I'll ask him. Ry Ry do you have an answer for me. You have to tell me the truth"
"Okay Yes Taylor I am nervous. And I will talk to Lucy about it okay"
"I have my eyes on you Ry Ry" I said then poked myself in the eye "owww"
"What happened?" Justin asked concerned.
"I poked my eye. It hurt"
"Right well we are pulling up now so I'll see you in bit"
"Okay we are in a table at the back"
I hung up and Lucy was starting to fall asleep.
"Lucy, someone is coming to collect us"
"I'm tired"
"Don't throw up on me"
I then spotted Justin and Ryan walking over.
"What are you doing here?" I said to Justin.
"I told you I was coming baby"
"I'm getting tired"
"Okay let's get you home"
"Can I come to yours?"
"Of course you can"
I went to stand up but fell back down.
"Let me help you" Justin held out his arm for me.
I was leaving into Justin as we walked out to a car.
"This isn't your car"
"No it's not"
"Well then whose is it?"
"Ry Ry's"
"Can he drive?"
"Yes he can babe. Now you're in the back with me"
"Can I sleep on you?"
"Of course you can but first we need to have a seat belt on you"
Ryan had got Lucy in the car and the last thing that I remember before I fell asleep was leaning into Justin and him playing with the ends of my hair.
I'm going to have a bad headache in the morning but thank god I don't have to go to work
