【 Jungkook 】
| A few days later...
The days went by rather quickly, and it had already almost been a whole week since you first started staying at Taehyung's place. And while it felt unfamiliar and awkward at first, you slowly found ourself relaxing more and more as they all made sure to make you feel welcomed.
You slowly turned on your side and opened your eyes, letting them adjust to the bedroom being lit up by the morning sun, but your heart instantly skipped a beat as you still weren't used to the sight of waking up with Taehyung sleeping soundly right next to you.
All his features were being beautifully highlighted by the sun rays, and you carefully reached over grabbing the comforter before gently pulling it so that it would cover his naked upper body better, and then carefully got out of bed making sure not to wake him up.
After pulling on a pair of sweatpants you made your way downstairs and into the kitchen to start preparing breakfast for the family, after all, it was the least you could do considering how much they've helped you lately
Jungkook: Should I do traditional or english breakfast...
You ruffled your hair sighing softly, but eventually settled on making a traditional korean breakfast after you remembered his parents mentioning how they don't make it often since it's a lot of work.
So you quickly started preparing all the side dishes, as well as the soup and rice making sure to place everything neatly on the table.
Once you were done you sat down on the couch leaning back tiredly as you glanced up at the clock seeing it was still 8:30am, meaning they wouldn't be up for another half an hour, and you giggled softly to yourself as you ruffled your hair
Jungkook: Ah... I shouldn't have hurried so much
You glanced over to your right as you suddenly heard the sounds of small footsteps coming down the stairs, shortly followed by Nari peaking around the corner whilst rubbing her eyes tiredly, and when she saw you she smiled tiredly and immediately walked over crawling up into your lap as she hugged you
Jungkook: Oh you're up early princess
Nari: Jungkookie is awake already?
A fond smile painted your lips as you nodded slowly whilst stroking her hair gently, letting her cuddle up in your lap, clearly also still really sleepy so you spoke softly
Jungkook: Mhm... I prepared breakfast for us all, go get some more rest I'll wake you up for breakfast sweetie
Nari shook her head as she sighed tiredly still cuddling up to you
Nari: No I want to stay here with Jungkookie...
You giggled softly before sighing in defeat, protectively holding her as you reached over and grabbed a blanket from the couch to cover her with
Jungkook: Alright stay here, but get some more rest dear
She slowly nodded and you booped her nose gently making her smile, and it didn't take long until she dozed off once again, resting against your chest comfortably, before you knew it you also found yourself slowly dozing off...
【 Taehyung 】
A tired yawn left your lips as you woke up to an empty bed this morning, so you pulled on a shirt before making your way downstairs, immediately being greeted by the pleasant scent of freshly cooked breakfast. Though as you walked into the kitchen seeing no one there but a table set up with delicious-looking traditional breakfast, you tilted your head in confusion whilst looking around
Taehyung: Why is this.. Mom and dad don't like making this because its so much work...?
You made your way to the living room to go sit down and wait for the others to wake up, but stopped in your tracks as you finally noticed something
On the couch, Jungkook and Nari were cuddled up hugging each other as they peacefully slept on the couch, so you slowly walked over and crouched down in front of them, smiling fondly as you felt your heart flutter seeing the two of them like this.
Taehyung: So it was you...
You gently covered Nari better with the blanket before reaching down and caressing Jungkooks soft cheek, though suddenly the familiar voices of your parents walking down the stairs while talking to each other could be heard
Mom: It smells good here, did the kids make breakfast?
Dad: I'm not sure, I don't remember asking anyone to come in to make breakfast for us today at least? Oh son!-
This made you carefully retract your hand before looking up towards them, whispering out a soft yet warning ''shhh'' and then pointing down towards the two sleeping on the couch, immediately making them both quiet down in confusion before walking over to see what you meant.
And they both awed in admiration as soon as they saw Jungkook sleeping while protectively holding Nari, and your mom nudged your shoulder gently as she giggled
Mom: She sure has taken a big liking to Jungkook huh?
You nodded and smiled as you stood up while looking at them, and your dad hummed as he spoke
Dad: Oh yeah, did you guys make breakfast together? It smells really good!
Taehyung: No, Jungkook made traditional breakfast all on his own.
【 Jungkook 】
You slowly opened your eyes as you were woken up by the sound of people talking, and immediately widened your eyes seeing Taehyung and his parents not too far away from you, once they noticed you were awake they smiled warmly down at you as you carefully sat up properly, trying not to wake Nari as your voice came out as a whisper
Jungkook: I'm sorry I didn't notice I fell asleep- what time is it?
Taehyung chuckled softly as he ruffled your hair meanwhile his parents just watched with warm smiles
Taehyung: It's a little over 9am, what time did the two of you get up?
You carefully got up and fixed yourself before scratching the back of your head shyly
Jungkook: I honestly don't know, but I was done at half past 8 and then Nari woke up and came and cuddled with me on the couch. I just ended up dozing off with her...
Taehyungs dad glanced over at you and then towards the table, clearly looking surprised
MrKim: You made all of that breakfast by yourself kid?
A shy smile painted your lips as you nodded and walked over there, and they both sat down at the table meanwhile Taehyung stubbornly insisted on helping you serve the rice bowls
Jungkook: I remembered that you mentioned you like traditional korean breakfast, but since it can be a lot of work you rarely make it... I just hope it tastes okay
Taehyung sat down meanwhile you poured them all a glass of water for them, and you watched nervously as they all tasted the food, instant positively surprised looks flashed on their faces as they looked up at you
MrsKim: Jungkook this tastes amazing!
MrKim: Wow you really are a great cook Jungkook!
You smiled brightly as you sighed in relief, meanwhile, Taehyung proudly patted your back as he let out a soft ''Good job pup" making you blush and clear your throat as you looked away shyly.
