Once we got to our seats Mark's Aunt Sonia from his biological father's side stood up with a mic, Mark looked at me but I looked ahead.
"Good evening everyone. I first just want to say congratulations to the happy couple, I'm truly happy for you both, truly." She stated looking directly at him.
"Marcel---Mark your father would be so proud of you, of all you've accomplished in such a short amount of time, from getting yourself together to starting your own business to becoming a father yourself," She was getting emotional herself.
"To now someone's husband. " I grabbed his hand he looked at me again I smiled at him.
"And I thank you both for allowing us, my children and I to be a part of your day." Everyone clapped except Mark.
"We've prepared this for you." She looks off to the side and nodded before handing the mic off to someone.
Song in M/M is the song Mark and His aunt danced to as well as the song played for the pictures slideshow.
"Awe," I started tearing up once I realized what song was playing "Dance with my father" by Luther Vandross.
After the first verse I nudge him, getting my drift he stood up and I grabbed my phone from Tamia as he walked over to her.
Standing up they both headed to the dance floor. "I'm a cry." I whispered to no one in particular.

While I was trying my hardest to keep from ruin my makeup my father came over and hugged me taking Mark's seat.
"You did this?" He asked.
"Yeah, even though we'll always be his family by choice, I wanted him to feel he had family by blood here today but the slide show was all her idea." He hugged me again.

"Thanks Dad." I kissed his cheek.

I could go into all the funny stories that include some of that stupidity but instead I’d rather focus on all the smart moves he’s made. His friendships, the relationship he has with his family, his career, it’s all a reflection of the incredible man he’s become. But really, the smartest move he’s made is marrying you, Toya.

When Toya picked me to be her maid of honor, she probably thought
about how we grew up together. Her my brothers and I, me being the youngest. How we became close because of the fact I was the only other girl, and maintained a strong and lasting friendship
throughout the years. Yes, she must have thought that I would have more charming and whatnot about her than anyone else she knew. And she was right.
What she didn’t realize is that I have also presided over her most embarrassing moments,
including the ones she probably doesn’t want me to announce in front of all of her family members and friends. Well, too bad.
You should have done a better job with the maid of honor screening process. So what should you know about La'Toya? Let’s start with that one time the boys in our old neighborhood started picking on me I didn't want to tell my brothers but once Toya actually saw it for herself, she whooped not one but two of they asses she's the real definition of a friend and neither of them came at me again after that day.
But in all seriousness, I’m thrilled to be here tonight and to have the chance to
toast this woman, my sister and the owner of a beautiful new husband.

With a handkerchief in my hand I wipe my tears and stand to give her hug.

Looking over at my parents my mother was dancing, we'll more like moving her booty like the DJ said.
Laughing I yelled "Get it, mama!" When Mark Grabbed me and pulled me into his arms.
"Hello my wife." He smiled.
"Hello my husband. " I smiled back.
"You ready to get outta here?"

"Then let's go I kinda have one more surprise for you."
"Oooh what surprise may that be." I leaned into him more.
Taking my hand in his, we quietly but successfully left our reception.
"What's the surprise? " I asked we reached the exit.
"This is..." opening the door he left out first then I.
I gasped. "Marcel!" I looked over my shoulder at him before looking back to 1966 Shelby Cobra a car that was one priced for 5.5 million dollars.
"Stop sweating I only leased it for the week."

"So wanna go take a ride."
"Hell yes!" Grabbing the keys from him I lifted my dress from off the ground and ran over to the driver's side.
Both getting in I turned the car on hearing the ignition roar I grinned at Mark and took off metal to the petal baby!
