I'll probably be making quite a few fantasy characters for my next few ocs. I've found a lot of images that I really like and each time I see one I'm like "oh! I know just what I want to do for you!" And then I start making their form. As I stated before, I prefer fantasy characters, I've mostly been creating human peeps though just in case that's what more people prefer. I've been wanting to make this kind of character for a while, he's super fantasy-esque. If you're going to go for fantasy, might as well commit and make characters that fit that.
What's more fantasy than purple skin? Yes, his skin is purple, don't bully him or I will hunt you down *_* . I didn't know what to do for his species, he's probably the most similar to an incubus, but I literally just made a bottom incubus character so... I just made him a demon >~<. I like him a lot, I think his face is so cool. Plus I'm a sucker for piercings and tattoos, so this guy really just pulled me in.
My character creation method is sooo messy. Characters aren't really created in any specific order, it usually starts with a picture, a personality, or a scenario idea and then goes from there. I create whoever I have the easiest time filling in details for first.

Overall personality:
Aura is different from your average demon. He still is very lustful, and enjoys having sex a little more than the everyday person, but unlike other demons, Aura loves, love. He is absolutely obsessed with the idea of having a beautiful, committed, passionate relationship. A love that last for hundreds of years. He hates the idea of flings, he doesn't want a one time hookup, he wants something more serious. He's very sweet, he'll do just about anything for his lover as long as its within reason. He may love, love, but he doesn't really believe in love at first sight. He believes in attraction at first sight yes, but for him to be fully in love with someone he needs to know them.
Even though his lover is usually the center of his world, he is completely capable to function all on his own. He doesn't need them to do everything for him, in fact he prefers to do things on his own. Aura is incredibly accepting. If his partner has trouble working through certain emotions, or maybe has anger issues, he will work through it with them. Background story:
Aura comes from a family of fairly powerful demons. He has a human form but he has never been to the human realm. This is completely by choice, he doesn't really have any interest in going to the human realm, he's completely comfortable in the demon realm. At least he used to be. As mentioned earlier, Aura has always been fascinated with love. He searched for someone who made his heart skip a beat for years until he met Warren. He interested him right away but there was a problem, Warren was an angel. This relationship was forbidden but Aura didn't care, he had already decided he wanted to get to know him.
Angels occasionally visited the demon realm to discuss topics that the two species shared responsibility over, such as figuring out what to do with the souls of the dead. Since Aura was a high tier demon, he was able to attend these meetings. After every meeting he would pull Warren aside and they would talk. Their relationship slowly progressed to the point that Warren started sneaking into the demon realm to see him. After some time, they knew they were in love. Being in a forbidden relationship wasn't easy. They always had to meet in secret. Unfortunately this arrangement couldn't last forever. They were eventually found out after carefully keeping their secret for 152 years.
The punishment for this was severe. Warren was exiled from the demon realm so he was never able to come back, and Aura was locked away. This was not the only part of his punishment. To try to ensure that he wouldn't escape his wings were also torn away, he now has scars on his back where they used to be. Aura has been imprisoned for a little over 200 years now. He hasn't seen Warren since, he doesn't know what happened to him, or what his punishment was. He had stayed obediently locked away until this point, when he decides to break out.

After being imprisoned for 200+ years, Aura has finally broken out of his confinement. Tired and weak he was running away for his life. If he was caught, he would surely be killed. Not knowing what else to do or where else to go. He runs into a more hidden away location, not having very much time, he rushes to bring forth a portal. He doesn't have much magic so the portal leads to the closest place possible that's completely random, this place happening to be the human realm. As you relax on the couch you see a purplish black whole slowly opening up in the very center of your room. The portal got bigger until it was a floating circle. There was no sign of any movement until Aura wobbled his way through, the portal closing behind him. He stood in your living room in full demon form, purple skin and all. He stared at you for a few moments. You thought he looked a little worse for wear, and that was only supported when his eyes rolled back and he fell to the side and fainted.
