"Daddy! 'mon" Hendrix grabbed my hand and pulled me to the table where my momma was sitting
"You better sitcho ass down and eat that food" I told him as I sat beside him at the table and he picked up a piece of bacon off of his plate eating it
"Y'all be feeding my baby like he a grown man" my momma said to me while she watched Hendrix
"Cause that nigga is a grown man, look at him"
She looked over at Hendrix and laughed at him while he rubbed his stomach with one hand and ate with the other
"That's grandmas big boy" she smiled "and he about to be a big brother. You excited Hendrix?"
He smiled while looking down at his food again and I watched him for a little bit, slouched back in my seat
" the real question is are you and Kay ready?" She looked at me and I laughed
"Shittt we ain got no choice but to be"
"You right. But y'all still have a couple of months then you back to square one, times two"

I tried to pick Hendrix cup up and move it closer to him but he reached and grabbed it with both hands, lowkey snatching the shit
